Part 2

Meia looked on at the group as everyone fell into a silence over her statement to take over the Empire. She looked at their faces to see who might accept the idea and who did not.  Randy had a look of disappointment in his eyes and she waited to see what he would say about her statement.

“Are you sure about that, it’s a lot of work,” Randy said to her finally.

She thought about it for a few seconds wondering if she was ready for such a huge responsibility. Taking over the Empire also meant it would require her to confront her uncle.  The thought caused a slight shiver to go through her.

“You all right?’ Randy asked. Continue reading…

Part 1

Dave leaned up against some boxes while waiting for his contact to show up. He received word from his boss about a new player in the struggle for control of the government, something he cared little about except for his hatred of the Emperor himself.  Sure there was the rebellion but even he knew that group was only a puppet of the Emperor so this new information his boss was anxious to learn.  It meant he was here, at night trying not to look out of place.

“I see you’re here,” a child-like voice said causing Dave to jump and turn quickly in the direction but saw no one. He started walking forward but stopped at the voice.  “Don’t come any further, unless you want to threaten everything you dolt!”

Dave stopped, raising an eyebrow at the voice but didn’t go any further. “All right, but who are you?” he asked.

“That’s not important right now, but the information is, especially considering what is about to happen,” the voice said. Continue reading…

Part 34

Hades watched as the centurion walked into the command room to give him an update on the situation.

“Speak centurion,” Hades said waiting.

“Our patrol was destroy by Colonial vipers,” the centurion replied back to him.

“Destroyed?” Hades asked, it sounded unlike the humans lately to do such a thing.

“Yes, the patrol indicated the vipers never made an attempt to hide at all, instead directly attacking,” the Centurion replied.

“How many raiders do we have?” Hades asked. Continue reading…

The uneasy Alliance – Part 33

Part 33

Adama looked over the reports coming in from Earth, so far things seemed ahead of schedule. The station connecting the surface to space had been complete faster than anyone expected, even the machines.  The mining operation on one of the moons in the system had begun.  The reports there were they would begin refining real soon and the deposit was larger than they anticipated.

They Cylons had not been a problem yet, but he knew that would change. They knew where they were now, and he anticipated they would try something soon depending on how many basesstars they had in the area.  He hoped they didn’t have many so they had time to gather their forces together.

“Commander, incoming message from the Enterprise,” the intercom said.

“Be right there,” Adama said, closing down his reports and heading to the bridge. Continue reading…

Part 32

Apollo flew though the thin atmosphere of the planet, called Mars by the humans on Earth. The planet would take some work, but initial scans indicated it could be terraformed to be tolerable for life.  They could even set up some greenhouses to start growing in much larger numbers than the Argo ships.

The only good thing so far was no sign of the Cylons at the moment as he turned and headed back to the Enterprise to give his report back to Commander Adama. It had been several days since the last attack and they had been working hard to get things operational.

On the planet’s surface the machines were working on a communications tower while the Enterprise and her new crew worked to get everything operational. The new humans seemed to know how to do things, something about being instructed, almost as if it was downloaded into their brain.  Apollo didn’t concentrate on it too much, but it worked. February 2017

Wow, its already February.  Almost Valentines Day and then President’s day and before you know it, it will be March.

Time is sure flying these days, seem to recall hearing something about that as you get older.

Super Bowl is coming up, getting ready for that as well.  Though, I will admit, I don’t watch the commercials, I actually watch the game.

Politics-wise, can’t we all just get along?

Site-wise, things continue as normal, nothing’s changed.  Been hit with a lot of spam comments recently, so if you made a comment and it doesn’t show after a day or so, I might have deleted it by mistake, some of those spam comments are good, and you let one in and you get flooded with them.

I have no plans to not complete any story, but energy some days is lacking to write, and other stories beg for attention.  So its not like I don’t want to complete it, or have no intention on completing it, but other things get in the way.

Though that is now confined to basically two stories, the Voyage to Earth series, and the ID4/BSG crossover, as I’m trying to not publish anything unless its complete.

Thanks for dropping by,

AJ

Part 31

Hades walked to the communications center having been instructed to report on the status of the situation to the imperious Leader himself.

“This is Hades calling the Imperious Leader,” Hades said, waiting for several microns before the Imperious Leader appeared on the screen.

“Report Hades,” the Imperious Leader stated.

“We have run into an unexpected development around this planet,” Hades said. “As you know there is a planet with many humans, they appear to be hooked up to a massive machine which defends itself.  The other problem has become the Colonial fleet which appeared.” Continue reading…

Part 30

Weapon drawn, pointed at him Adama contemplated his next move very carefully knowing that a lot more was at stake than just Zion now. Perhaps that was Ilbis’ plan all along, get him down here and destroy all of humanity.

“And what is the meaning of this?” he heard ilbis say, and turned around to see Turner along with several others pointing weapons, not at him but the approaching people.

“I have doubts of your course of action,” Turner said firmly.

“You doubt me?” Ilbis said.

“Of course he does, he sees the truth,” Apollo said, stepping forward. “You can only control those who blindly follow you.” Continue reading…

Part 29

Tigh looked over the bridge crew, so far they had operated with effectively considering how quickly they had been tossed together. He was also impressed with how well the people who had come aboard knew the systems so well.  Tom explained it was due to the fact they could have the information downloaded into them though the interface which could connect them to the Matrix.

The whole Matrix thing confused him, but at the moment it seemed to help tremendously in training new recruits. Tom seemed to know a bit bout ships and was competent in his abilities in handling others.

He looked up as Apollo and Starbuck walked onto the bridge. They had been ferrying the remaining people back up to the Enterprise but right now they looked concerned more than anything else.

“What’s wrong?” Tigh asked. Continue reading…
