The Sith Empress – Part 2

The Sith Empress

Part 2

Jessica slowly became aware of her surroundings as she regained consciousness. The first thing she became aware of was a headache but that was beginning to ease up a bit despite the feeling it would last all day.  She thought back to what happened, entering the Valley of the Jedi cave, then the strange figure calling itself Darth Zaris, and finally some unknown presence.

A voice above her snapped her back to the present as he regained her senses. Opening her eyes she waited a few seconds for her eyes to adjust to the light and could make out a figure standing above her.

“You all right?” the man asked her waiting for a reply.

Jessica took a moment to stretch a few muscles and evaluate if she had any pain at all. Nothing felt out of place to anything and the man appeared to be waiting for an answer to his question.  She flexed her arm a bit and felt a strange power coursing through her even with her head hurting. The Sith Empress – Part 1

The Sith Empress

Part 1

Jessica sat in the back of the transport bouncing along as it sped through hyperspace towards a location which had not been given to them. She was among some hundred or so hand-picked storm troopers for a special assignment.  No one knew what the assignment was but that didn’t mean no one speculated about it.  They were going to strike back against the new Republic.  She silently hoped it might be true, but would wait and see.

The soldiers around were part of an elite group under the command of General Garret of the Imperial army. It only fueled rumors they were going to be striking against targets of the Republic.  She also heard other rumors when it came to the General’s name, like he was a rogue general.

Jessica cared not if he was rogue or part of the Imperial Empire, all she cared about was quenching her thirst for blood and violence. Because of that desire she rose quickly in the ranks of her unit. She gained a reputation for completing her tasks quickly and efficiently.  But that same nature meant few people talked to her, not that she cared.  Action was the only thing she craved. Summer!

Its summer, and its hot!  Think my brain melted so far, but not sure that’s a good or bad thing.

Currently, I’m writing a strange fanfiction, a Frozen story which will probably appear on the site sometime next year.  I like the characters of Elsa, Anna and Kristoff so I went and put it into a sci-fi setting but kept them as princesses and added a love interest for Elsa, there will be no Elsa x Anna fics here, yuck.

Up next will be a rewrite of ‘The Sith Empress’, to start gearing up for the next movie, ‘The Last Jedi’ to come out this Christmas.  I have a story that’s being worked on from the game, Knights of the Old Republic, and an original story, ‘Lucky Luck’.

As normal, the cat blog is updated every other day, so head on over for a laugh, look up some old posts as well and have some fun over at www.kittylaughs.com.

As always, thanks for stopping by,

The Return – Part 6

Part 6

Baltar stood there listening to everything which happened according to Cylon intelligence. He had no idea everything had been going on for the past year, at least not since the Galactica had dropped him off at the planet.  Only recently had the Cylons actually rescued him.

“So Baltar, what is your reasoning in all of this,” the Imperious Leader asked after hearing about the improbable events.

“You were unable to uncover what was in the building on the planet’s surface,” Baltar said.

“No.”

“It makes no sense to me,” Baltar said after thinking about it. “I see no reason why Adama would bring everyone to the surface and then have the Galactica plow into it.  Were all of the ships empty?”

“Almost all, there were a handful which were not,” the Imperious Leader said. Continue reading…

Part 5

Apollo appeared on the surface of the planet at Boomer’s request along with a few more people. The report had been they discovered some survivors but there seemed to be some problems.

He looked around seeing Boomer standing there along with the team, along with a few others. They had a rough look to them, like they had been barely surviving for a while now.  The ship itself looked in bad shape but some areas had obviously fixed up.  He moved forward heading towards the person he hoped was the leader.

“Another one?” the man said.

“I’m Captain Apollo of the Galactica,” Apollo said using his rank from when he was still on board the original Galactica here in this system. “Son of Commander Adama.”

“They are all dead,” the man replied. Continue reading…

Part 4

Adama waited as the ship dropped out of hyperspace at the Lucian alliance. Messages had been sent they were coming but no one knew what type of reception to expect from them.  Scanners had indicated already several ships in the area and if a fight started they would be outnumbered.  He waited along with Daniel Jackson for any communications from the Lucian ships.

Latest intelligence from the Lucian alliance indicated they were still in flux of leadership so the tau’ri didn’t know who was in actual command at the moment. Adama figured he would find out shortly.

“Sending communications,” the captain of the Hammond said.

“Well, now we’ll find out who is in charge,” Daniel said more to himself than anyone else.

A bald man appeared with bronze skin. Continue reading…

Part 3

Apollo looked on as the Galactica dropped out of hyperspace. The scanners quickly looking around for any sign of a Cylon basestar.  The last thing he wanted was to be caught unaware of the enemy so close.

“Scanners clear,” the reply came back.

“Engage the cloak,” Apollo said, a new technology which had been developed by the Gou’ald and adapted by the Tau’ri and now this vessel. It would come in handy for this operation.

“Planet appears suitable for our operations,” his scientific officer said.

“Begin preparations for a landing party to scout around, make sure things are quiet down there,” Apollo said. They had a lot of work to do if they wanted to get a base up and operational and dial back to Earth. Continue reading…

Part 2

Apollo made his way onto the bridge of the Galactica having been called there by Boomer.

“We’re about to arrive,” Boomer said to him as he made his way to the center of the bridge.

“Good,” Apollo said, knowing stopping here was only a first step in their journey back home.

“We’re about to drop out of hyperspace,” one of the bridge crew said to him.

“Any hive ships?”

“No, scanners are clear,” the reply came back to him.

Apollo felt a bit relieved about that despite the last incident with the Wraith the activity had dwindled a bit but were still a threat. And despite the fact that Atlantis was now back at Earth, and on the far side of the moon, there were several bases in the Pegasus galaxy to maintain alliances and information about the Wraith. Part 1

Sam made her way through the gate to what was being called Caperica. Her first official duty as the new commander of the SGC.  It was amazing how far she had come in ten years and never expected to be in such a position.  Stepping though she exited to a similar set up on the other side.  The soldiers stood down upon her arrival as a brown haired man stepped forward.

“Apollo, how are you?” Sam asked.

“Took a while, but we adjusted,” Apollo replied as they made their way away from the gate and out of the gate building.

Sam was amazed at how quickly they had built a city here for forty thousand people. Of course not everyone was on the surface, many were above working on the space docks on the next generation of ships which was why she was there. Continue reading…

Part 32

Meia watched General Porkins walk into the room and head straight to her.

“Ma’am, glad to see you’re still alive, the admiral will be glad. Though,” he paused to look her over, “you appear a bit worse for wear.”

“Had a bit of a fight with my uncle, had some problems but managed to make it through,” Meia said to him. “I need your help in restoring order to the city and palace.  Have the captain of the Enforcers report to me as soon as possible, we need to make a few changes.”

“Yes ma’am,” Frank said.

“How many did we lose?” Meia asked. Continue reading…
