March

Heading into March and things continue to update here.

What a difference a year makes.  Last year I was battling site problems and back pain.  The back pain sent me to the doctor and almost paralyzed me.  So if you have back pain, don’t put it off too long.

Going to put a few old stories which haven’t been uploaded yet, including Master Lighter, and Ephiny and the Roman Army.  That will probably be followed with a new Buck Rogers fanfiction story which is a reboot story coming at the end of the month.

Still working on the Matrix/BSG crossover, working on an ending and perhaps in April or May will be ‘Black Alpha One’, a new BSG story.

Additional news is the fact I’m working on another two new BSG stories as well.  One is called ‘Ring of Salvation’, which is actually a Stargate SG-1/BSG crossover and the other is a normal BSG fanfiction story.  One which I had started years ago and dug back out hoping to complete it this year.

Updates will be about every third day, so continue to come back and see what’s new.

Or head over to my other blog, www.kittylaughs.com for a cut funny picture of a cat.  Its updated daily.

Part 8

The small group walked up to the President’s office and while Boxey and Terrance stopped the woman continued walking right on by and into the office. Boxey looked over at Terrance than at the secretary who merely shrugged before they both followed her into the room.

“Hey Uncle Steve,” Renee said to the President who was working at his desk.

“Well, look who walked in and dragged a couple of strays,” Hiller said. “You know your father is tolerant of you bringing strays home, but this is the President’s office.”

“But this one is cute, can I keep him,” Renee said, grabbing Boxey as Terrance stifled a laugh.

“That’s between you and your father,” Hiller said, before turning to look at Boxey and Terrance. “What brings you to my office?”

“Mr. President, I don’t know if you remember me, but my name is Terrance, from the Battlestar Galactica,” Terrance said hoping the man did remember him. Continue reading…

Part 7

Apollo watched from the bridge of the Pegasus as the mothership exploded. He yelled for all hands to brace for impact.  Such a large ship would send out waves of debris.  The Pegasus rocked slightly but no major damage was reported.

“Mothership destroyed,” a voice said across the bridge. Apollo sighed knowing it was good news.  He knew the Earth forces knew how to destroy the saucer ships and now they had a way to destroy the motherships as well.

“We have a saucer ship heading in our general direction,” Athena said. “Getting an energy build up.”

Apollo knew that there were not many fighters in the area, despite John yelling over the intercom for a fighter to get over and destroy it. He looked over to see what ship it might be targeting, and noticed a couple of cruisers.

“Full power to the forward batteries,” Apollo said. It was a last ditch effort to save the Earth ship, and something the battlestars rarely did, and almost never in space for a purpose for what he was going to use it for. Continue reading…

Part 6

The bridge of the Pegasus was full of activity as the crew went about their duties for combat. They were all a bit nervous about what was going to happen.  Apollo sat in the middle of the bridge in the command chair watching.  He would have liked to have Starbuck leading his viper squadrons but he was still helping out on Earth.

“Hel, take us in nice and steady,” Apollo said calmly. “All vipers prepare to launch.

“We’re getting a communications from one of the Earth ships,” Athena said to him.

“Put it through,” Apollo said having been expecting something. He felt no surprise when he saw Admiral White’s face on the screen.  “Admiral White, how can the Pegasus help?”

“Commander, what are you doing, the battlestars don’t have any shields,” the admiral said quickly.

“Helping in this battle, and our armor is quite advanced,” Apollo said wondering if the admiral would accept his help. Continue reading…

Second Face of Evil – Part 5

Part 5

The alien ship slowly approached the asteroid belt with hundreds of eyes upon it. Everyone waited for the massive ship the size of a small planet to reach the point everyone waited for.  Inside it housed everything the aliens needed for planetary stripping and conquering.  Its limited scanning ability would not detect the ships in the asteroid belt.

David watched on board the Pacifica as the signal grew stronger with each passing second. Looking down at eth screen his laptop was showing the progress on trying to communicate with the alien computers.  He silently urged the computer on to make the connection.

“Yes,” he said quietly as the connection was made. He quickly commanded the computer to send the virus to the mother ship.

They knew from past experience that there would be a slight delay from the transmission of the virus to when it became effective. The time would be used to get into position as David informed the bridge of the success. Continue reading…

Part 4

Admiral John White hoped David would return from Mars in time to help out with the protection of Earth. The situation this time was different than before.  There were two large small moon sized ships they would need to take care of this time.

John heard David found some new alien discovery on Mars which had his attention. John had no idea about that, only that he knew other aliens were out there thanks to their new allies.  Of course the Cylons were a different type of threat if he took Starbuck’s words as truth.

Some days John hated being in charge and having to make the tough decisions which could ultimately decide victory or defeat. He had to consider all options and what to ignore in order to get the mission done and now that mission was to ensure the survival of Earth.

The fleet was at full strength, all ships manned and stations. He turned at the sound of the door opening and a familiar face walked into the room. Continue reading…

Part 3

Apollo watched the scanners looking at the slowly approaching ships. The ships were slower than anything the Cylons had, but the biggest ships he ever seen, the size of a small moon.  He already talked to Tigh about the possibility of sending out a patrol to check it out closer.  Tigh however wanted to wait until they had more information from Starbuck and the people from Earth.

“Commander Tigh for you,” he heard, and turned to look down at his screen as Tigh’s face appeared on it.

“What are our new friends doing?” Tigh asked. Apollo knew he meant the approaching ships.

“They are still on course, haven’t changed anything, still coming very slowly. The trajectory of the ships will take it right to Earth,” Apollo said.  “It’s like they are not afraid of masking their approach at all.” Continue reading…

Part 2

Admiral John White sat waiting for the next report of what was going on in the council from his aides. He was worried about what the council might ask, and what they might want to know.  He knew some in the council did not like the military despite the fact the human race was almost wiped out by an alien race.

He wondered what exactly the council might decide to do. If the decision was up to him, he’d allow the fleet to come in.  They needed information about this new enemy, and an exchange of technology might result in even better warships.  But some might not see it that way, and feel that if this group continued on this new threat might pass them by.

“Admiral, will you please come in,” a young aide to the council said to him.

“Lead on,” John said, looking up and wondering if the young man even remembered the invasion. John followed the aide into the council room wondering what type of knowledge the council might need from him.  They had his reports on what happened, and his recommendation on this new human fleet. Second Face of Evil – Part 1

Part 1

The Battlestar Galactica slowly made its way around the large gas giant which was part of the solar system. Behind it was a large fleet of ragtag civilian ships.  Bringing up the rear of the fleet was the Battlestar Pegasus covering for anything which might try to attack the fleet from behind.  Close by was a force of Earth warships providing escort into the system.

Tigh understood that the fleet probably would not be there if the Earth military had not intervened when they had. Since the battle they had been given permission to enter Earth’s system and along with the Colonial patrols Earth ships were keeping an eye out for any Cylon warships.

On the bridge of the Galactica Tigh was able to move around without a member of the council for the first time in yahrens. He once again had the ability to react quickly to a threat to the fleet without having to gain permission from the council. Continue reading…

The Cimalian Princess: Clone – Part 28

Part 28

Henry watched the admiral leave the room. The news he’d been given surprised more than he let on and had hoped Meia would have been destroyed by the 1st CF but she continued to have luck on her side.  No, what angered him the most was who had helped her escape, Trina.

“So, even in death you manage to foil my plans Didi,” Henry said, spitting the name out with venom, Meia’s mother, who always seemed to know and understand things better.   She was only an epsilon, not worthy of anything.

A slight laugh caused him to turn and in the shadows noticed the outline of a child who he knew.

“And what are you laughing at?” he snapped, wondering what she would find so amusing this time.

“Oh, nothing much, but I could have told you that Meia wouldn’t have accepted the location of the port to attack for the rebels, she understands how much control you have,” the child stated. “You’ll never beat her without learning more about her.” Continue reading…
