Part 5

Lexxa turned to see Kira, Doc, Scourge and HK heading towards her but no Flesh Raiders around.

“You didn’t eliminate them all?” Lexxa asked.

“Explanation: No master, the meatbags ran away,” HK replied.

“Okay,” Lexxa said.

“Clarification: Shouldn’t we go after them master?” HK asked.

“Don’t think that will be necessary HK,” Lexxa said knowing the droid would be disappointed at that.

“So, its over?” Kira asked, looking at the body of the Sith. Continue reading…

Lexxa entered the room seeing Rusk already in there as the others also came in, including Kira, Doc, Scourge, Jela and Ranna. Rusk said there was something for her, the station had intercepted a message from the Flesh Raider village and she was eager to see it.  The communicator came to life and the captain of the orbiting station appeared.

“Captain,” Lexxa said.

“Master Jedi, a pleasure to work with you,” the captain said.  “Sargent Rusk said we might pick up some communications, we did so not long ago and managed to record it.”

“Let’s see it,” Lexxa said, watching as the screen changed to the man she had seen earlier. He was human, dark hair and a couple of Sith tattoos around his eyes.

“Master, I’m reporting in,” the man said.

“And what is the situation?” a voice replied. Continue reading…

Return to Tython – Part 3

Part 3

Lexxa made her way along the path, places she had been before when she was a padawan under Master Orgus Din. Of course back then the Flesh Raiders had been helped by a former pupil of Din’s and this time she only hoped it was a Sith Lord not something else even more dangerous.  Reports seemed to indicate one Sith Lord.

She left Kira in charge of the defenses knowing her lover and Doc could handle any attack without her. Kira had been a bit miffed, but mostly due to missing any action than anything else.

Now approaching the Flesh Raider village Lexxa took note on its changes. Instead of a scattered arrangement of villages like she recalled, there were now a few larger buildings and what she thought looked like a large training field cleared away. The guards appeared better organized and, she paused stretching out with her feelings, thought she noticed a few were stronger in the Force this time. Continue reading…

Part 2

Lexxa exited the speeder along with her companions while looking around as dusk started creeping across the village. Things looked almost the same as when she had been here so long ago when her journey as a Jedi Knight had only begun.  The real difference was she was not a lot more experienced than she was before all of this.  She also felt relieved that the Sith invasion had spared the village from any destruction.  Spotting Ranna she made her ways over towards her noticing she was talking with another Twi’lek.

“We lost another guard last night, no one saw anything, the others are getting worried about staying on patrol at night” Lexxa heard the male Tw’lek said to Ranna.

“Then perhaps I can be of some assistance,” Lexxa said speaking up to the group, watching as they looked at her. She noticed Ranna’s face turn from worry to relief at the sight of her.

“Lexxa, thank the Force you’re here,” Ranna said, running over and hugging Lexxa. She looked over at the glare she received from Kira. Continue reading…

Part 1

Lexxa slowly became aware of the knocking on her door wondering which of her crew was disturbing her sleep now. She knew how it wasn’t, curled beside her Kira stirred a bit at the knocking and answered before Lexxa could.

“Whoever is knocking better have a good reason for disturbing us,” Kira said causing Lexxa to chuckle at that. Kira could be many things, but patient wasn’t one of them, especially when waking up.

“I’ll go check it out,” Lexxa replied, giving Kira kiss on her forehead before slipping out of bed, wrapping a robe around her body headed to the door.

She heard the engines of the ship humming and assumed there was no problems with some system. Opening the door she spotted Doc standing there looking slightly uncomfortable with something.

“Good, you’re up,” he said, giving her a grin. Continue reading…

Part 6

Eph glanced over at Queen Melosa and Princess Valaska before looking over to where her mother and Eponin stood next to her. She watched Gabrielle make her way down the center in her new ‘Amazon’ outfit.  It consisted of a simple skirt, a bit too short in Eph’s opinion, and several necklaces which covered Gabrielle’s breasts.  An armband and wristband revealed her position within the Nation.  The outfit had been a source of debate, mostly due to Gabrielle’s stubbornness.

Gabrielle stopped in front of Melosa as every watched on.

“Gabrielle, tonight, among your sisters and allies you shall become a part of our family. Who here will accept Gabrielle into their family?” Melosa asked, despite already knowing the answer.

“We will,” Eph said, stepping forward along with her mother and Eponin. Continue reading…

Part 5

Ephiny looked on at everyone before deciding to change the subject away from Amazons and Centaurs.

“So, what happens to the Roman prisoners?” she asked Valaska.

“Currently the Conqueror’s army is watching over them,” Valaska sad. “They are technically Amazon prisoners that will need to be sorted out as well considering there were two other sides involved in this battle.  The only bad news is the Roman prisoner who Komi killed.”

“That must have been their mission before joining Tanis,” Eph stated.

“It appears Elasia and Rita are quite talkative now that Tanis is dead,” Valaska said. “They thought if Tanis got the Right-of-Caste the Romans would kill Queen Melosa and me allowing her to takeover without a problem.  That plan took a detour when Terreis gave Gabrielle the title instead of one of you two.” Continue reading…

Part 4

Ephiny waited for Eponin to tell her what happened, as she figured they had won the battle.

“The Romans were already organized for an attack, only waiting for some word to begin. The Conqueror advised us to attack first despite the fact neither the Centarus nor Greek Army had arrived yet.  Taking her advice we attacked from the cover of the trees with arrows,” Eponin stated.

Ephiny understood the tactic, the Amazons relied on speed, stealth and tactics rather than brute strength in combat, and the way the Romans wanted to fight would have put them in a awkward position.

“The Princess guard are very good, probably trained by the Conqueror, and without them we’d have had much higher losses,” Eponin said glancing at the Conqueror who remained quiet at this time. “Anyways, we’re fighting when the Centaurs show up with Jana, and well, you know how good they are in combat.” Continue reading…

Part 3

Eph heard the comment by Gabrielle and almost couldn’t believe how calm she sounded facing off against Tanis even as Riga stepped forward with an attack. Eph blocked the attack while backing up a bit and managed to see around her.  The elders appeared to be holding their own at the moment.

“You realize if you kill the princess Rome won’t be able to save you. You will have destroyed the nation and anyone helping will also be destroyed,” Eph said hoping to put some doubt in the minds of her attackers.

“I doubt that, Tanis has this all figured out already,” Koni said back to her. “So far everything is going as planned, right down to making that Roman a hero in the Nation for killing Tarreis.”

“A hero?” Eph said sputtering at the boldness of the statement. “Did Tanis tell you that?  You realize that under Roman rule the Nation will cease to exist, come on Koni, look at reality.” Continue reading…

Ephiny and the Battle for the Amazons

Part 2

Ephiny wasn’t sure if she should be insulted or proud to be staying behind after all the flurry of activity earlier in the day. Staying behind meant she would miss the battle yet she was staying behind to guard Princess Gabrielle.  Both Melosa and Valaska were leading the Amazons into battle along with some of the Conqueror’s troops.  She looked on seeing everyone preparing for the upcoming battle.

Valaska returned not much longer with even more information. It seemed that the romans had been joined with even more Amazons, those who were probably loyal to Tanis, and were part of the group, Valaska’s Chosen.

Much to Eph’s surprise she found Gabrielle quite helpful in the entire situation. Eph’s main concern was Valaska who would be out for revenge on Tanis.  The princess was angry at Tanis for several reasons, not including using her name for a rebel group after being banished.  Passing Valaska, Eph thought she heard her mumble what she would do to Tanis is she caught her.
