Dovahkin’s Flight<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Part 5<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Zoe stood in front of the Jarl of Whiterun once more, a position she never dreamed of only a short time ago.\u00a0 She had been a nobody only a short time ago and now after defeating a dragon whispers of Dragonborn were directed at her.\u00a0 A title she never heard of before, of course she had never seen a dragon either, or so she thought until recently.<\/p>\n

It had been strange, she should have been fearful upon first seeing the creature attacking the outpost.\u00a0 Yet, something inside her jumped at the chance to take down a dragon.\u00a0 When it died she had gone for a closer look, only to have something strange.\u00a0 She absorbed the dragon\u2019s power.\u00a0 She could shout, something she only heard in tales, and even then it was rare or took a lot of training.\u00a0 Being able to do it like she had was unusual.<\/p>\n

Now her third time in front of the Jarl, the first was to warn him of the dragon attack on Helgan.\u00a0 He had asked her to help his court wizard.\u00a0 The second they received word of the dragon attack and now, she was here once more being appointed a Thane of Whiterun by him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you my lord,\u201d she said to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe sure to greet your Housecarl on the way out, she is waiting by the door for you,\u201d the Jarl said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course,\u201d she said.\u00a0 She would head over, see the Housecarl and then think about beginning her journey to the Greybeards, the mysterious group living on the Throat of the World.\u00a0 They had summoned her to their place, but for what she didn\u2019t know.\u00a0 How did it connect with her being this Dragonborn?<\/p>\n

With a bow she made her way towards the door seeing a dark-haired woman dressed in steel armor waiting for her.\u00a0 She must be her Housecarl which the Jarl had mentioned considering she had never seen her before.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreetings my Thane, I\u2019m Lydia, your Housecarl,\u201d she said, as Zoe got a better look at her face seeing she was pretty.\u00a0 \u201cHow can I serve you?\u201d<\/p>\n

Zoe had to push her immediate thoughts aside which were defiantly inappropriate and mostly consisting of doing something in bed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I\u2019m still a bit new around here, I don\u2019t know my way around that well,\u201d Zoe replied, only having met a few the locals in the market as she came and went.\u00a0 She knew a few more in Riverwood than Whiterun.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen it\u2019ll be my pleasure to help my Thane,\u201d Lydia replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can call me Zoe,\u201d she replied back giving some thought of what the woman looked like under that armor.\u00a0 She discovered her attraction to women early on and even had a few romances while in the Imperial City but nothing serious.<\/p>\n

\u201cHave you bought a house in Whiterun?\u201d Lydia asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, even bought some furnishings last time I was here,\u201d Zoe replied realizing she should check it out.\u00a0 The last time she looked in it the furnishings were terrible.\u00a0 And she had the money now from her dungeon hunting to afford something nice.\u00a0 Renald wasn\u2019t kidding when he said dungeon hunting was profitable.<\/p>\n

\u201dI shall be pleased to see your place.\u00a0 I normally stay at the palace,\u201d Lydia said.<\/p>\n

Zoe thought about it as they started down the steps towards the main part of the city.\u00a0 She looked over seeing the Companion\u2019s longhouse.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you know of the Companions?\u201d Zoe asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Companions, well, don\u2019t talk to many folks, seem a bit strange, but still they have a good reputation for getting jobs done,\u201d Lydia replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI met a few when I first got here, talked to one, Aela, and she said to join up,\u201d Zoe said.\u00a0 \u201cWas thinking about it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJoining them might bring in some extra income, and increase your name,\u201d Lydia stated.<\/p>\n

Zoe realized joining them might help her increase her skills as well.\u00a0 Something she understood she needed to do to survive in Skyrim.\u00a0 Things were moving along very fast and she wondered what Renold would think of her hunting in dungeons after listening to his stories.<\/p>\n

Reaching the market the smells of the food drifted over to her causing her stomach to rumble a bit.\u00a0 She realized she hadn\u2019t eaten in a while and made her way over.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou want anything?\u201d Zoe asked Lydia.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m fine my Thane,\u201d she replied.<\/p>\n

Zoe gave her a raised eyebrow as she smiled back before turning back to the vendor and bought two apples.\u00a0 Giving the pretty vendor a wink she continued on down the road towards her house seeing several people around it.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, you\u2019re here,\u201d one guy said looking like the head person of the group.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re just finishing up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was fast,\u201d Zoe replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019ve got the help, its easy,\u201d he replied back.<\/p>\n

Zoe thanked him before heading inside looking around.\u00a0 The interior had a nice fire pit for cooking, and much nicer table and chairs than she had in her previous cabin.\u00a0 Of course that one had been a tale, chair and bed all in one room.\u00a0 This had an upstairs and additional rooms.\u00a0 She noticed an alchemy room before heading upstairs.<\/p>\n

There was a small loft area, and her bedroom with a nice double bed.\u00a0 She also noticed a slammer room off to the side which had another bed.\u00a0 It would be easy to have Lydia here to look after her property while she was out.<\/p>\n

Putting her stuff away she pulled out a letter, one she had completely forgotten about after everything which happened to her, and was surprised it hadn\u2019t been taken away when she was captured.\u00a0 She climbed down the stairs and looked at Lydia who was sitting at the table.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a place upstairs for you if you wish,\u201d Zoe stated.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019ll be nice to know someone is here when I\u2019m gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you my Thane, I\u2019ll be sure to guard your possessions,\u201d Lydia stated as Zoe sat down and handing her an apple which she took.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you familiar with the Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite?\u201d Zoe asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, its just outside the city,\u201d Lydia said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, by the river, the large longhouse over there,\u201d Lydia replied.\u00a0 \u201cIt used to be the best bathing house in Skyrim years ago, its not quite what it was.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI see,\u201d Zoe said, having one question answered realizing there was such a thing as the Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite but was there a guy named OMB?\u00a0 If so, why then did he send her a message?<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s still a nice place,\u201d Lydia said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think I\u2019ll try it out,\u201d Zoe said, making a decision.\u00a0 \u201cA nice bath before heading out in the morning, sounds like a plan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heading back up she took off her armor, placing it in the chest for storage.\u00a0 Making her way back down she noticed that Lydia had also changed, no longer in her steel armor and in regular clothes Zoe could see the more feminine curves.<\/p>\n

Heading out they walked out of the city towards the river and before the bridge turned left, in a direction she had yet to go.\u00a0 It was easy to see how she missed it.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you know of the place?\u201d Zoe asked,<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly been there a few times, the people are nice, it is a bit different though,\u201d Lydia said in a tone which sent warning bells off in Zoe\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, in what way?\u201d Zoe asked, now hoping she hadn\u2019t made a mistake.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, its more of an adult establishment,\u201d Lydia replied back.\u00a0 \u201cNudity isn\u2019t uncommon inside, and the workers are some very lovely looking women.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zoe\u2019s eyebrows shot up wondering if somehow she was entering heaven.\u00a0 An entire bath house full of beautiful woman who were half naked, her idea of heaven.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t appear that busy right now,\u201d Lydia said.\u00a0 \u201cSome say the atmosphere had changed, which is why it\u2019s not going as well.\u00a0 Old timers say it had an almost magical presence that\u2019s lacking now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, as long as I can get a good soak in, it\u2019ll be worth it,\u201d Zoe replied.<\/p>\n

She noticed the large deck in front and could see a deck behind. And a couple of girls out there.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs it always busy?\u201d Zoe asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot recently,\u201d Lydia said.\u00a0 \u201cIts fallen on hard times.\u201d<\/p>\n

She noticed in the front a male with short brown hair wearing some impressive heavy armor.\u00a0 Zoe had only recently starting appreciating such things as her own skills increased.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey Farquar,\u201d Lydia said, giving him a wave.<\/p>\n

\u201cLydia, haven\u2019t seen you over here in a while,\u201d the man replied back.\u00a0 It was obvious that Lydia knew the man.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the new Thane of Whiterun, Zoe,\u201d Lydia said introducing her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen you\u2019ve made it to a Housecarl?\u201d he stated.\u00a0 \u201cCongratulations then.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks,\u201d she said as Farquar looked at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look like you can hold your own in a fight,\u201d he said to her.\u00a0 \u201cI guess you won\u2019t be giving us any trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cStill learning,\u201d Zoe replied, but she had learned more since arriving in Skyrim than in any previous time.\u00a0 Doing into dungeons, fighting dragons, it all seemed unreal to her.<\/p>\n

Walking into the building she noticed the smell of water right away, mixed with food.\u00a0 She noticed the spa right in the middle, dominating the lower space, off to one side some chairs and beds and the other a bar.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to the Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite, or BBLS as we like to call it,\u201d a woman said walking up to her.\u00a0 She had black hair, tied in a ponytail and very attractive.\u00a0 \u201cIts 5 gold per person, drinks extra at the bar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSound reasonable,\u201d Zoe replied, unsure what a reasonable price would be as she continued to take in at the beauty in front of her.\u00a0 She took out the coins and handed them over taking glance at the woman, wearing a short dress which barely came to her thighs giving an impressive look at her legs.<\/p>\n

Defiantly not something you saw walking around Skyrim.\u00a0 Roaming around you needed armor, or someone with armor and a sword to protect yourself from bandits.\u00a0 She briefly wondered aside from the guard about the others in the building.\u00a0 Most people she met were fighters of some sort.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you need anything, towels, drinks, just let us know.\u00a0 We\u2019re here to serve our guests,\u201d the woman said to her.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m Leah, you are?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cZoe,\u201d she managed to replied, not used to such attention as she made her way over to an area to undress to use the bath.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps I could wash your back?\u201d Leah suggested giving Zoe a look over and her mind produced images of much more.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell,\u201d Zoe replied, giving Leah a look back, \u201cI guess I can be persuaded.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGood,\u201d Leah replied back as they stripped out of their clothes.\u00a0 It took a bit longer for Zoe as she had more on as Leah revealed nothing underneath her dress except a very nice figure.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, what brings a lovely woman like you here?\u201d Leah asked as they got comfortable in the bath.<\/p>\n

\u201cRelaxing a bit before having to head out in the morning,\u201d Zoe replied back, as Leah\u2019s hands started to work their magic.\u00a0 It was obvious she had done this before.<\/p>\n

\u201cReally, where are you heading?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, the Throat of the World, visiting the Greybeards,\u201d Zoe replied back to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, I heard something about that,\u201d Leah replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, seems like I was summoned,\u201d Zoe stated still unsure about it all despite her talk with the Jarl.\u00a0 \u201cFeels like a lots happened since I came to Skyrim.\u00a0 Dungeon hunting, summons and dragons.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDragons have really returned?\u201d Leah asked, her hands having stopped at the question.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, seen them twice now, though they were different dragons,\u201d Zoe replied, giving it some thought.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, how long have you been in Skyrim?\u201d Leah asked, her hands resuming their massage.\u00a0 To Zoe it felt more like seduction than bathing.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, not that long, got caught up in this rebellion which is going on.\u00a0 Came from Cyrodiil, the Imperial City,\u201d Zoe replied, liking the attention.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, what\u2019s that like?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNot that impressive, the Thalmor have taken over everything,\u201d Zoe replied as the hands continued to work on her shoulders.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure at one time it was impressive,\u201d Leah said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, probably, but not anymore,\u201d Zoe replied thinking back to some people and then why she came here and sat up and turned to face Leah.\u00a0 \u201cThere isn\u2019t someone called OMB here is there?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOMB, you mean Old Man\u2019s Beard?\u201d Leah replied with a frown.<\/p>\n

That got Zoe\u2019s attention real fast as she ignored the fact she was in a bath with another gorgeous, nude, woman.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo he\u2019s a real person?\u201d Zoe asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, why?\u201d Leah asked, cocking her head to the side and looking at Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe sent me a letter,\u201d Zoe replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cA letter?\u201d<\/p>\n

Zoe watched as Leah turned her gaze towards the bar where an older gentleman, dressed in brown and a long grey beard worked.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, OMB!\u201d<\/p>\n
