Part 2<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Apollo made his way onto the bridge of the Galactica having been called there by Boomer.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re about to arrive,\u201d Boomer said to him as he made his way to the center of the bridge.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood,\u201d Apollo said, knowing stopping here was only a first step in their journey back home.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re about to drop out of hyperspace,\u201d one of the bridge crew said to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAny hive ships?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, scanners are clear,\u201d the reply came back to him.<\/p>\n

Apollo felt a bit relieved about that despite the last incident with the Wraith the activity had dwindled a bit but were still a threat. And despite the fact that Atlantis was now back at Earth, and on the far side of the moon, there were several bases in the Pegasus galaxy to maintain alliances and information about the Wraith.<\/p>\n

Having read about the enemy Apollo wasn\u2019t sure who was worse, the Cylons or Wraith. Both were highly dangerous, and add in the Ori and it was amazing how the people on Earth had survived, especially not knowing about the situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cDropping out of hyperspace,\u201d the helm officer said.<\/p>\n

Communications quickly was established with the base as a man appeared on the screen.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Commander Apollo of the starship Galactica,\u201d Apollo said waiting a second.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, yes commander, I\u2019ll get Woolsey,\u201d the reply came back.<\/p>\n

It took only a few seconds before another person appeared, this one was bald on top with dark hair.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Woolsey, you must be the Galactica,\u201d the man replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, reporting in,\u201d Apollo said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI take it everything is all right?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything went fine,\u201d Apollo said.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, if you\u2019ll beam down I\u2019ll give you a tour and information about what\u2019s been going on here,\u201d Woolsey said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSounds good,\u201d Apollo said, turning to Boomer. \u201cIf you need me I\u2019ll be down on the surface, go over everything and make sure nothing is wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo problem,\u201d Boomer replied back.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, and keep an eye out for any Wraith,\u201d Apollo said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, don\u2019t want to get into a fight with them either,\u201d Boomer replied, having read the same reports as Apollo headed to the rings.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Apollo found himself on the surface in an underground base facing Woolsey.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to Pegasus base commander,\u201d Woolsey said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks,\u201d Apollo said looking around.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is one of my best men, John Sheppard,\u201d Woolsey said introducing the man.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome to home sweet home,\u201d John said. \u201cSo is It true, you\u2019re from another galaxy as well?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, the Galactica\u2019s mission is to head back there and set up an observation post to keep track of the Cylons,\u201d Apollo said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSimilar to our bases here,\u201d Woolsey said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, since that battle at Earth, things here have quieted down a lot,\u201d John said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd no one is eager to make waves, \u201cWoolsey said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt least the Wraith don\u2019t want to eliminate us,\u201d John said. \u201cThat allows us a bit of wiggle room.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cClosest would be the replicators,\u201d Woolsey said. \u201cTried to eliminate all humanity in the galaxy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Apollo had to think about that group, and while dangerous they were venerable to certain weapons.<\/p>\n

\u201cShudder to think what might happen if those two got together,\u201d Apollo said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat good eh?\u201d John asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cMore like a nightmare,\u201d Apollo replied as they walked to the gateroom. He watched as the gate dialed and unlike the one on Earth, or New Caperica, this gate didn\u2019t spin, but lit up as each address was activated.<\/p>\n

\u201cPegasus base calling,\u201d Woolsey said over the intercom, waiting a moment before the screen came to life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is halfway point, good to hear your call Pegasus base,\u201d a voice aid, as the screen suddenly showed a young man. Apollo recalled that midway station was set up with a series of stargates to dial Earth without having to use a ZPM.<\/p>\n

\u201cReporting that the Galactica arrived on time and with no problems,\u201d Woolsey said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCopy Pegasus base, will relay the information back to Stargate command, I know some will be glad to hear that. Orders for the Galactica have not changed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we\u2019ll head out once all systems check out,\u201d Apollo said speaking up.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnderstood, midway station out.\u201d<\/p>\n

The gate connection ended and Apollo got the rest of the tour of the base.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Tigh made his way to where he had been called by security. Standing front of him was a man dressed in Colonial clothing and flanked by Bojay and Greenbean.\u00a0 Tigh didn\u2019t recognize the man at all and he had seen everyone who came from the Colonies.\u00a0 The man should at least recognize him but he seemed to not know who Tigh was.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s the situation?\u201d Tigh asked looking at the three men and wondering what was going on.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaught this guy snooping around in a place he shouldn\u2019t have been,\u201d Bojay said to him. \u201cHe was looking around the gateroom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tigh\u2019s eyebrows rose at that as he looked at the man. \u201cAnd what\u2019s your name?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMike, I\u2019m a Tau\u2019ri like I was trying to tell these two,\u201d the man replied back. He was almost a bit agitated by everything.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s your social security number?\u201d Tigh asked having learned that much about the group from Earth. Tigh counted the numbers the man gave which ended up being the correct number.\u00a0 However, something seemed off to Tigh about the man named Mike.<\/p>\n

\u201cLock him up for now,\u201d Tigh said going with his hunch, if he was wrong he would apologize as he made his way away and towards their stargate command.<\/p>\n

\u201cCommander, something wrong?\u201d another voice said. Tigh turned to see Uri making his way towards him.\u00a0 Tigh sighed but had learned honest went a long way to dealing with the councilman.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing for the council to worry themselves over, but had a security breech,\u201d Tigh said.<\/p>\n

\u201cA person from Earth?\u201d Uri said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe, but what\u2019s troubling is the fact he was wearing Colonial clothing instead of Earth clothing,\u201d Tigh said expressing his doubt.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps he finds them comfortable,\u201d Uri said as they made they way into the gateroom building.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought of that, but I have yet to see anyone from Earth wearing such clothing, and he was snooping around our gateroom. There are other human groups which are not allies of our cause so we must be careful,\u201d Tigh said.\u00a0 \u201cSomething we are not used to doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if he is from Earth?\u201d Uri asked. \u201cYou could jeopardize our relationship with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if its one of those other groups our security could be compromised,\u201d Tigh replied as he entered the control room. \u201cDial Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes sir,\u201d a man said, he was from Earth and dressed in a normal Stargate uniform.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid you see the man snooping around?\u201d Tigh asked the people in the control room.<\/p>\n

\u201cI called security,\u201d one man said, also from Earth.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe claims to be from earth,\u201d Tigh said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t recognize him,\u201d the man replied as the other man also agreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd he\u2019s not anyone from our group,\u201d Tigh said getting the feeling they had a spy in their group. The question became how did he get there.<\/p>\n

The gate rotated as the chevrons activated finally establishing the connection and a woman\u2019s face appeared on the screen.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaprica city calling Stargate Command,\u201d Tigh said using the official name for the settlement.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo ahead Caperica, this is General Carter,\u201d she replied back.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe captured someone snooping around our stargate, claims to be from Earth, but no one recognizes him from Earth, and I do not believe him to be from the Colonies,\u201d Tigh said. The people from the Colonies had grown into a tight knit group.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s disturbing,\u201d Sam replied back. \u201cWe have reports that the Lucian Alliance has been trying to gain access to your city, even trying to figure out who you are, technology and such.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tigh gave that some though even as Jolly came walking into the room.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry commander, was instructed to give you this,\u201d Jolly said handing Tigh type of devise which he held. He didn\u2019t recognize it.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan you hold that a bit higher?\u201d Sam asked.<\/p>\n

Tigh looked a bit skeptical but did so, turning it when she asked for several seconds.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, its what I feared, Lucian Alliance tech,\u201d Sam said to him. \u201cCan you transport him to Earth? We might be able to gain some information from him about what\u2019s going on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah,\u201d Tigh said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll inform the council, I think we can tell the others as well. Such things will not go over well with the population,\u201d Uri said.\u00a0 \u201cSomeone trying to spy on us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tigh watched as Uri stormed off angry at what happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, will everything be all right?\u201d Sam asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think so, we don\u2019t take such things kindly. The last time someone did this it almost killed us all.\u00a0 You\u2019re people will probably be looked at suspiciously here for a while, at least anyone new,\u201d Tigh said looking down at the two nearby who were looking back at him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, colonel?\u201d Sam said addressing the man sitting close to where Tigh was standing.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes general?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTell everyone to cooperate with the Colonial council, and go through and make sure those who are there should be, go over everyone. I don\u2019t want another leak like this.\u00a0 If they have one there they might have another one.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes ma\u2019am,\u201d the colonel said.<\/p>\n

Tigh watched as he stood and headed out to carry out the order.<\/p>\n

\u201cCommander, could you send that device though as well when you send the prisoner? I\u2019d like to study it,\u201d Sam said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSure,\u201d Tigh said, glad to be rid of it.<\/p>\n

With that the gate shut down and Tigh wondered what might happen next.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Sam looked up as Teal\u2019c walked into her office an jumped up giving her old friend a hug. Since becoming the commanding officer of the SG proram she didn\u2019t have as much time to talk with him as she once did.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeneral Carter,\u201d Teal\u2019c said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTeal\u2019c,\u201d Sam said raising an eyebrow at him as they sat down. \u201cWe\u2019ve known each other too long to be calling me that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSam, you wanted news about the Lucian Alliance,\u201d Teal\u2019c said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we found one of their spies in Caperica City,\u201d Sam replied back to him watching as he nodded upon hearing the news.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen this goes with my intelligence,\u201d Teal\u2019c said. \u201cOur spies indicate they are looking to infiltrate Caperica city and find out more about who they are.\u00a0 It seems that a sudden appearance of a highly advanced culture and civilization didn\u2019t go without being noticed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSeems we weren\u2019t as subtle as we hoped,\u201d Sam said thinking about that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndeed, they were looking for a new ally against the Tau\u2019ri,\u201d Teal\u2019c said to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey won\u2019t like the fact the Colonials are allied with us,\u201d Sam said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is more, they discovered information about where they came from and what galaxy they came from,\u201d Teal\u2019c said.<\/p>\n

Sam had a sinking feeling. \u201cLet me guess, they think they might be able to ally themselves with the Cylons?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat appears to be the current talk,\u201d Teal\u2019c said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the Galactica left the Pegasus galaxy a few days ago,\u201d Sam said. The possibilities for what else might happen were vast, especially if the Lucian Alliance managed to give a hyperdrive to the Cylons.<\/p>\n

She picked up her phone and quickly dialed listening for the President\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Hayes,\u201d the man\u2019s voice said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSir, General Samantha Carter,\u201d Sam said introducing herself waiting a moment before he realized who was calling.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeneral, what can I do for you?\u201d Hayes asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cSir, we have a situation on our hands, and I need the go ahead for a diplomatic approach, but it will be dangerous,\u201d Sam said still in disbelief she was about to suggest this.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s happened?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt appears the Lucian Alliance has discovered the existence of the Cylons and my fear is they are making plans to head out to try and meet with them. If the Cylons discover hyperdrive technology a lot of galaxies could be in danger,\u201d Sam said to him.<\/p>\n

She waited a few seconds as the President gave it some thought.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the Cylons from the Colonials?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes sir,\u201d Sam said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWill this Lucian Alliance even talk to us?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know, but we have to chance it before an even larger war starts,\u201d Sam said honestly.<\/p>\n

\u201cVery well, you have my support,\u201d Hayes said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you sir,\u201d Sam said hanging up and looking at Teal\u2019c. \u201cI\u2019d like you there as well, along with Daniel.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI will be ready,\u201d Teal\u2019c said.<\/p>\n

All Sam had to do was get the team ready.<\/p>\n
