Part 7: A Lucky Slave?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Gwen walked down the street of the town looking over Setta.\u00a0 They decided after everything that happened yesterday that Zoe would go shopping and she would look for Hans\u2019 office.\u00a0 Zoe had taken off to the markets while Gwen followed the instruction by John to Hans\u2019 place.\u00a0 She finally spotted the small building, really it looked like a small one room building and no one really around.\u00a0 Walking inside she spotted a short man with long dark hair sitting behind the desk.\u00a0 He looked up as she entered.<\/p>\n

\u201cHelp you miss?\u201d he asked, the tone neutral.<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking for work, John mentioned you,\u201d Gwen said, taking the time to look around, seeing a second desk and another man, along with a smaller room off to one side.<\/p>\n

\u201cJohn you say, intriguing.\u00a0 He usually doesn\u2019t send me people, must have impressed him.\u00a0 What did you do?\u201d the man asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cDid some work helping him with his transportation issue,\u201d Gwen answered, leaving out Stephos.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see, had trouble lining up people for that job, then he mentioned he found someone.\u00a0 I\u2019m Hans\u201d he said, leaning back in the chair and looking at her.\u00a0 \u201cWell, you\u2019re not the normal type I get in here, that\u2019s for sure.\u00a0 But, I think I do have something for you.\u00a0 Give me a moment to send off a message.\u201d\u00a0 He stood walking into the next room and came back out.\u00a0 \u201cYou in town long?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and my partner are here for at least a night, depends on what happens after that,\u201d Gwen replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, good,\u201d he stated, writing down something on a piece of paper.\u00a0 \u201cWhat type of partner?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe helps out, stays out of the fighting,\u201d Gwen said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHmm, even better,\u201d Hans said, confusing Gwen.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, what type of job is it?\u201d Gwen asked, not wanting to get involved in something too weird.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, its actually quite simple, but I need the right type of person.\u00a0 It\u2019s a mission that Lady Valerie asked for, wants a woman for the mission if possible, lucky I found one, something about a guard to Banding,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Gwen felt uneasy about the mission, especially if meant the destination was Banding, the infamous slave town.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re escorting her or something?\u201d Gwen asked, looking for clarification.<\/p>\n

\u201cHmm, yes and no, she requires someone who can go with her inside the town as well, be with her at almost all times.\u00a0 Seems something happened last time she was there, scared of someone, or made an enemy, won\u2019t tell me,\u201d Hans said, looking over at the other man.\u00a0 \u201cYo, Carl, take this over to Lady Valerie\u2019s and be quick.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen watched as the other man in the room walked over, took the note and left in a rush.<\/p>\n

\u201cWind mage, does great courier work,\u201d Hans said, sitting back down.\u00a0 \u201cLady Valerie is one of the more prominent members of Setta, her household is exclusively women, that doesn\u2019t bother you does it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, means she won\u2019t have a problem with my partner, she\u2019s a female,\u201d Gwen said, still unsure about the mission.\u00a0 It could be very easy or extremely hard.\u00a0 She needed more information about the situation, and it appeared Hans lacked that information.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerfect,\u201d Hans said, smiling.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, I\u2019ll have to talk it over with my partner,\u201d Gwen replied, not wanting to accept right away, and Zoe might have some questions she had not thought of.\u00a0 She also wondered how Zoe might feel about heading to the slave capital of the Shadowlands and Realm.\u00a0 The town was made up of almost all slaves or owners, almost no one in the town did not own a slave, or belonged to someone.\u00a0 If you were looking for a slave, you went there, their training for slaves was the best around.<\/p>\n

Carl returned just as quickly as he left, handing the letter to Hans.\u00a0 He scanned through the reply before looking up at Gwen.\u00a0 \u201cShe\u2019d be delighted to talk to you, and will be here tonight to talk over details with you if you wish.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, we\u2019ll be back after dinner,\u201d Gwen replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll let her know, and be expecting you,\u201d Hans said, shaking her hand.<\/p>\n

Gwen left the building heading out looking for Zoe in the market place.\u00a0 She avoided a few kids running around, and prevented a pick-pocket from trying to steal from someone before finally heading to the inn not finding her.\u00a0 Once inside she spotted Zoe sitting at one of the tables and made her way over.<\/p>\n

\u201cAny luck?\u201d Gwen asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe markets were wonderful, but then I got hungry and came back,\u201d Zoe said.\u00a0 \u201cYou?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe, we\u2019re meeting a potential client tonight after dinner,\u201d Gwen answered watching Zoe for any reaction.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat,\u201d Zoe said.\u00a0 \u201cThings were slow this morning, got out there before the crowds.\u00a0 Merchants told me a lot of the wares are still on the road, might be another day or two before they arrive.\u00a0 So what type of job?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, it might be unique,\u201d Gwen replied, seeing Zoe appear really interested in the job.\u00a0 Gwen wondered if that interest would stay when it would probably involve her as well, and where they were going.\u00a0 \u201cIt would require us to go to Banding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBanding?\u201d Zoe replied, her eyes going wide at the place.\u00a0 \u201cWhy there?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSeems the client does business there, and has her own slaves, all women.\u00a0 Hans said she requires an escort, or bodyguard to go with her.\u00a0 I have a feeling that if we go, you\u2019ll be playing the part of my slave,\u201d Gwen said, liking that idea a bit.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour slave?\u00a0 What makes you think I\u2019ll be the slave?\u201d Zoe said, looking at her with a cool gaze.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you have any experience with slaves?\u00a0 Or high society that usually goes with it?\u201d Gwen asked, looking at Zoe and wishing that her own past did not have such things.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, no, I don\u2019t,\u201d Zoe replied.\u00a0 \u201cBut I could learn.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, and who is captured easily?\u00a0 My past I had experience with slaves, owning them when I was in the Realm,\u201d Gwen said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay,\u201d Zoe replied.\u00a0 \u201cI guess we\u2019ll talk to the client and see what they want.\u00a0 Don\u2019t like this being a slave though.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll make a very cute slave,\u201d Gwen replied.\u00a0 \u201cAnd I don\u2019t like to share,\u201d Gwen said, seeing that statement take a bit of the unsure look off of Zoe\u2019s face.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust brings up some bad memories,\u201d Zoe said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou and me both,\u201d Gwen answered.\u00a0 She watched as the waitress dropped off the plate and dug in.\u00a0 She could push the job off to the side for now.\u00a0 This evening would be time enough for talking.<\/p>\n

Gwen held the door open for Zoe as they entered the building.\u00a0 She spotted Hans already sitting down at the desk, and an older woman sitting across from it.\u00a0 She had long brown hair and brown eyes, and a graceful appearance of someone who took care of themselves.\u00a0 She also scream money, but did not seem to flaunt it.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, Gwen, welcome back, this is Lady Valerie,\u201d Hans said indicating the other woman<\/p>\n

Gwen watched as the woman seemed to size her and Zoe up before saying anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cPleasure,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNice to meet you,\u201d Zoe said, sitting down.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, Hans said a little bit about you,\u201d Gwen said also sitting down.\u00a0 \u201cPerhaps you can give us a bit more information about the mission.\u00a0 Hans did not have much other than to escort you to Banding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, its rather simple, but I require someone, refined,\u201d Valerie stated stressing the last word making Gwen wonder what type of mission this was.\u00a0 \u201cI need someone to accompany me on a business transaction to Banding to Master Greis.\u00a0 The real problem is not him, but his son.\u00a0 He has assaulted my slaves, and tried to assault me as well the last time.\u00a0 His father is too lenient with him, and I am not the only one who this has happened to.\u00a0 However, I have found someone else to business with.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen thought about that, wondering if she would be putting Zoe in harm\u2019s way.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need someone who can protect herself, and others.\u00a0 My girls are my life and I would do anything for them, as they would for me,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 Gwen understood by the look in her eyes she meant every word she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo we would accompany you as your slaves?\u201d Gwen asked, unsure if she felt comfortable with that situation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was my original plan, but you are not one to be a slave, they would see right through any act you give,\u201d Valerie said impressing Gwen with her powers of observation.\u00a0 \u201cYour partner is a perfect fit for a slave.\u00a0 Dress her up the right way and she would pass for a slave, or a slave in training.\u00a0 I could explain you as a business associate of mine, of who I have many.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou seem to have all the bases covered,\u201d Gwen said, looking over at Zoe.\u00a0 \u201cIt would be up to you.\u00a0 Do you feel comfortable being my slave for this?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know, you\u2019d owe me big time over this,\u201d Zoe finally replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have magic fingers,\u201d Gwen replied, waggling her fingers waiting for Zoe\u2019s answer as she looked at the fingers then blushed.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou two are lovers,\u201d Valerie said, not asking a question but making the statement.\u00a0 \u201cThat would make things even better.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow?\u201d Zoe asked, confusion in her voice.<\/p>\n

Valerie laughed at the question before answering.\u00a0 \u201cWell, it\u2019s not well known, but most masters and slaves are lovers in Bonding, especially the pleasure slave of the master.\u00a0 It\u2019s part of their society, one master, but they don\u2019t hold a strict slave master relationships like everyone thinks they do.\u00a0 It\u2019s all part of the image they try to maintain.\u00a0 Master Greis\u2019 son is a one of the few who thinks it should be like the image, treating slaves as property.\u00a0 Its my last dealing with him, and I refuse to subject my girls to that treatment again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we go, I doubt they\u2019ll accept me like I\u2019m dressed,\u201d Zoe said, surprising Gwen with the foresight.<\/p>\n

\u201cProbably not, but my girls can fix you up, a few are close to your size,\u201d Valerie said, taking a moment to look Zoe over again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess we\u2019re taking the job then,\u201d Gwen said, looking over at Valerie and then at Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think we should sit by when we can stop anyone from being hurt, even a slave,\u201d Zoe said, a conviction there that Gwen had not seen before.\u00a0 She assumed it had to do with something in the girl\u2019s past, something she had yet to speak of.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerfect,\u201d Valerie said, clapping her hands together with excitement.\u00a0 \u201cI have my girls set you up and we can leave in the morning, unless you have something else up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay,\u201d Gwen aid, looking back over at Zoe, who appeared fine now.\u00a0 \u201cThen we\u2019ll see you in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Valerie walked out leaving Gwen and Zoe in the room along with Hans, who looked pleased with the outcome.\u00a0 They said their good-byes to him and made their way back to the inn.\u00a0 Gwen thought about the job, and what she might have to do, and act with Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you okay with this?\u201d Gwen asked, as they reached the inn.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a job, something I\u2019ve got to get used it, and she seemed nice,\u201d Zoe said.\u00a0 \u201cSomething about her attitude came off as genuine to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen thought about that for a few seconds.\u00a0 True, Valerie came across as strong, confident, yet when talking about her slaves, she called them \u2018her girls\u2019.\u00a0 The woman had several good qualities to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess so, but one must always keep up your guard, otherwise you become venerable to sweet talk,\u201d Gwen said heading up the stairs to their room.\u00a0 \u201cYou realize you\u2019ll be dressed differently.\u201d\u00a0 Gwen looked down at Zoe and imagined her in something more, erotic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI kinda figured,\u201d Zoe replied.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019ve seen slaves in towns before, some were actually happy and others were miserable and unhealthy.\u00a0 Guess it\u2019s all about the owners.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow the slaves look is a direct reflection of the owner,\u201d Gwen said, entering their room.\u00a0 \u201cLet\u2019s talk about it in the morning, I can think of some other subjects I\u2019d rather talk about.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHmm, how about the stars,\u201d Zoe replied, sitting down on the bed giving her an innocent look.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can, if you\u2019re able to,\u201d Gwen stated, standing in the center of the room.\u00a0 Taking off her shirt she watched Zoe\u2019s eyes fixate on her even as she continued the slow strip-tease.<\/p>\n

\u201cAble to what?\u201d Zoe answered a few seconds later, her voice husky.<\/p>\n

\u201cExactly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen knocked on the door of the house after following the instructions Valerie had left them last night.\u00a0 A few seconds later the door opened allowing a women with short brown hair, and slightly taller than Zoe to appear in the doorway.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan I help you?\u201d she asked politely.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy name is Gwen, this is my partner, we\u2019re here to see Lady Valerie,\u201d Gwen stated, waiting a moment before the woman recognized the name.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome in, the mistress is waiting for you,\u201d the woman said, holding the door open for them.\u00a0 \u201cFollow me please,\u201d she said, closing the door and walking inside towards a room off the main hallway.<\/p>\n

Gwen took a moment to study the woman in front of them.\u00a0 She was dressed in a simple tunic, yet it covered everything.\u00a0 She appeared healthy, and happy.\u00a0 The room had several chairs and a desk, and she figured this was where Valerie did most of her business.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe mistress will be with you shortly.\u00a0 She\u2019s finishing breakfast.\u00a0 Is there anything I can get you?\u201d the woman asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I\u2019m fine,\u201d Gwen answered, looking over at Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m fine,\u201d Zoe replied.<\/p>\n

Gwen sat down, and did not have to wait long before Valerie entered the room along with two other girls.\u00a0 One stood almost as tall as Valerie, with blonde hair and blue eyes, the other had red hair, green eyes and was shorter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome Gwen, Zoe, this is my right hand gal, Pam,\u201d Valerie said, motioning towards the blonde, \u201cand this is my financial advisor Lori.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen wondered if they were slaves or employees but tried not give anything away.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s nice to meet you two.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLori will be accompanying me on the trip, Pam runs the household when I\u2019m gone,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cThey were my first two girls.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement answered Gwen\u2019s question, the two were slaves.\u00a0 However they appeared healthy as well, and even more content than normal.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs this the one mistress?\u201d Pam asked, looking over at Zoe with a bit too much interest in Gwen\u2019s opinion.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, she is the one who will acting as a slave.\u00a0 I need for you to teach her the basics, then provide an outfit that would match her,\u201d Valerie replied, pointing from Zoe to Gwen.\u00a0 Gwen looked on as Pam seemed to take the assignment seriously, thinking for a few seconds.<\/p>\n

\u201cHmm, fighting spirit, tough, doesn\u2019t back down, I expect her slave to be quiet, almost shy and the outfit skimpy and erotic, yet protective of the elements,\u201d Pam said, sounding like she was running through a checklist, but seemed to understand the details of the position.\u00a0 Gwen\u2019s opinion of Valerie went up if she allowed her slaves this much freedom.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuiet?\u00a0 Her?\u201d Gwen finally said, pointing over at Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat, I\u2019m curious about things.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t ask how do you learn?\u201d Zoe replied before looking over at Pam.\u00a0 \u201cSkimpy clothes?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all part of the illusion we\u2019re trying to create, one we play all the time,\u201d Pam said.\u00a0 \u201cAnd act that others expect us to play and follow.\u00a0 Fighters are generally less caring and more forceful with their slaves, as a result they are there more for sex than anything else.\u00a0 That\u2019s why they have little clothing, and what they do wear it\u2019s still easy for the master, or mistress, to have access to the slave\u2019s body.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHmm, the mission has its merits,\u201d Gwen said, looking over at Zoe for a few seconds.\u00a0 \u201cThe things these fingers could do with such outfits.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cJust remember, paybacks,\u201d Zoe said finally.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you would follow me miss, we\u2019ll get you ready for everything you need to know,\u201d Pam said, looking at Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo on, the quicker we do this, the quicker we\u2019re back and besides, you might enjoy it,\u201d Gwen said, laughing at Zoe\u2019s glare even as she walked out of the room with Pam.\u00a0 It left Gwen alone with Valerie and Lori.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s interesting, where did you two meet?\u201d Valerie asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe ran into me, running from some slavers,\u201d Gwen replied, not mentioning Stephos.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can see why they wanted her, I\u2019d have paid top coin for someone like her,\u201d Valerie said after a few seconds.\u00a0 \u201cAnd I\u2019m not talking about her figure.\u00a0 Many of my girls have others, skills.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen\u2019s eyebrows rose at that statement, wondering what else she was hiding.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, nothing illegal I assure you, but you see, I\u2019ll allow Lori to explain it,\u201d Valerie said, giving a motion to the blonde.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a Latgic, my magic is financial luck,\u201d Lori said, surprising Gwen slightly with the admission.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see, having someone like such luck would be extremely fortunate,\u201d Gwen said, realizing that luck probably did play a lot in Valerie\u2019s financial wealth.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, there is a lot about Latgic\u2019s that people don\u2019t know about.\u00a0 Pam is naturally cheerful, not a latgic, but always has a smile for someone.\u00a0 She is also rock solid trustworthy and loves Lori,\u201d Valerie said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh,\u201d Gwen replied, surprised by that admission.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we were married last spring with our mistress\u2019 permission, she even stood for both of us during the wedding as we don\u2019t have any real family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFull of surprises, I see our instinct about you was correct,\u201d Gwen said, looking over at Valerie.\u00a0 She sat slightly confused at the statement.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m not one for slavery, seen too many bad owners in the Realm, but you\u2019ve never once mentioned them as your slaves, but your girls.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are my girls, as well as my family,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cMy real family, well, my parents split when I was young, didn\u2019t see much of my father, or brother, don\u2019t care to see him actually.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen had the impression there was more to it, but did not press the issue.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about Greis, won\u2019t he think its unusual for you to bring along a business partner?\u201d Gwen asked, changing the subject away from family.\u00a0 She had the feeling neither of them wanted to discuss that topic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve done it before, but your background needs to be fleshed out so we\u2019re on the same story,\u201d Valerie said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSay I\u2019m from the Realm, Corrort,\u201d Gwen said.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s a port city with lots of trade.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I\u2019ve done business with some from there, never been there though,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cPerhaps I should expand out of the Shadowlands.\u00a0 Greis is a trader of more adult toys for slaves.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, interesting,\u201d Gwen said, but said nothing else.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts best to keep things spiced up, is it not?\u201d Valerie said, looking at her for a moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, though I haven\u2019t thought of it much,\u201d Gwen replied honestly.\u00a0 True some things might be interesting to try, she was still new with being Zoe\u2019s lover.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe girls actually suggest what to get, I just pamper them, after all, if you don\u2019t take care of your empire, it crumbles.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen could not argue with that statement.\u00a0 She had seen too many ignore things thinking it would take care of itself.\u00a0 Valerie loved her slaves and from what Gwen saw, they loved her back.\u00a0 Such trust and fellowship gave her a huge advantage over others.<\/p>\n

She listened a bit as Valerie spoke about Greis\u2019 son and what she might have to look out for.\u00a0\u00a0 He took advantage of everyone, and Lori recalled her tale with the man.\u00a0 He seemed to have some fighting power by the way Lori and Valerie described him.\u00a0 Such power had gone to his head, thinking he was the most powerful around.<\/p>\n

Gwen thought about that for second, wondering what he might be like had he grown up in the Realm.\u00a0 There were many there who were much more powerful.\u00a0 Her cover that she was from the Realm gave her leeway to use more power than normal.\u00a0 She could always use the excuse she had been in the Realm army.\u00a0 She almost felt sorry for him, as he probably was outclassed by a lot.<\/p>\n

She looked up as Zoe re-entered the room.\u00a0 Dressed in a short white dress that came down to about mid-thigh, both sides were open, held together by gold ring near the waist.\u00a0 Gwen looked at the plunging neckline that exposed the valley between her breasts, and knew she wanted to keep this dress.<\/p>\n

\u201cVery sexy, we might have to keep that one,\u201d Gwen said with a smile, watching as Zoe blushed at the assessment of her looks.\u00a0 The girl might be a bit of a tease, but she also had a large amount of innocence still about her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, all she needs is a slave collar,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cI have several different types that I use when out of town that you can borrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen thought about that for a few seconds before answer.\u00a0 She did not want Zoe to have to use a collar, but understood the reasoning for it.\u00a0 \u201cThin if you have it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRemember, don\u2019t be enjoying this too much,\u201d Zoe said, as Gwen stood and walked over to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy not,\u201d Gwen replied in Zoe\u2019s ear.\u00a0 \u201cYou\u2019re beautiful in that.\u201d\u00a0 She ran a hand up the side tickling the exposed flesh there causing Zoe to move away with a giggle.<\/p>\n

Pam returned with a few different collars, all black but no markings on them.\u00a0 Picking out a thin black collar she placed it around Zoe\u2019s neck.<\/p>\n

\u201dYou\u2019ll have offers left and right in Banding for her,\u201d Valerie said, as they both looked over Zoe.\u00a0 Gwen had to agree and decided to change the subject to take the focus off Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen should we leave?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as we\u2019re ready,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cI usually leave before noon, and arrive in time for supper.\u00a0 I have already sent a note off to Greis informing him of my arrival, and I was bringing a business partner with me.\u00a0 I usually stay overnight and return back home the next day when business is complete.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about our stuff back at the inn?\u201d Zoe asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re welcome to keep it here for the night,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s only reasonable as you\u2019re helping me out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, then I\u2019ll go get the stuff, and should probably change a bit,\u201d Gwen said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about me?\u201d Zoe asked.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019ll go with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou really want to go out like that?\u201d Gwen asked, eyeing Zoe\u2019s outfit.\u00a0 She already knew the answer, while Zoe was a large tease in private, in public, she was more reserved.\u00a0 It would be interesting to see her actions in Banding.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, okay,\u201d Zoe finally said after thinking about it for a few minutes.<\/p>\n

Gwen headed back to the inn wondering what the day might entail.\u00a0 By this evening they would be in Banding with Zoe acting as her slave.\u00a0 She hoped the girl would be able to act the part.\u00a0 Of course there still might be some more interesting activities later on.\u00a0 It had potential, and all she had to do was keep an eye out for one person.<\/p>\n

Gwen wrapped her arms around Zoe as they rode the horse, Valerie\u2019s usual way of movement. \u00a0It allowed her to quickly flee a scene unlike traveling on foot.\u00a0 Zoe shifted once more leaning back into the embrace as she rode in front.\u00a0 Gwen had thought about having Zoe ride behind her, but decided she would not waste the opportunity to hold the girl.\u00a0 Gwen adjusted slightly, hearing a familiar gasp from Zoe.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not squishing you?\u201d Gwen asked, pretty sure she was not.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, no, not that,\u201d Zoe said, moving slightly back once more.\u00a0 Gwen gave her some room to back up even as Zoe explained some more. \u201cIt\u2019s the saddle horn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen frowned at the statement before reaching down and feeling the part in question.\u00a0 She smiled slightly as she realized what had happened, and the design of the saddle before asking the next question.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is hurting or exciting you?\u201d Gwen asked, looking down at Zoe, watching the blush appear.\u00a0 She had her answer even before Zoe said anything.\u00a0 Flipping the dress up before scooting up a bit more making sure Zoe received plenty of contact.<\/p>\n

\u201cW-What are you d-doing?\u201d Zoe asked, gasping slightly at the sensation.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust relax and enjoy, it\u2019s there for a reason,\u201d Gwen answered, reaching down under the dress and gently parting the folds.<\/p>\n

The movement of the horse added a rocking motion to the horn which was touching the more sensitive areas of Zoe\u2019s sex.\u00a0 Gwen added a few gentle touches, looking down seeing Zoe\u2019s nipples sticking out under the fabric of the dress.\u00a0 Gwen felt out with her aura making sure no one else was around while keeping her eye on Zoe\u2019s approaching climax.<\/p>\n

Zoe tried to remain quiet, but as her climax neared it was a struggle.\u00a0 Finally a short cry indicated her going over to the pleasure.\u00a0 Gwen held onto the girl as she recovered slightly before looking over at Valerie and Lori, who both smiled knowingly.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see you found my secret, and why I usually sit in front,\u201d Valerie said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFull of surprises,\u201d Gwen said once more.\u00a0 She wondered if not saying anything was an oversight, or a deliberate attempt to see what they might do.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will admit, it took a while working with Greis to get that just right,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cYou don\u2019t need someone else, but it\u2019s better that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zoe slowly recovered from her climax, but did not look over at Valerie or Lori.\u00a0 She turned slightly towards Gwen before talking in a low voice.\u00a0 \u201cCould have told me what you were going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd miss out on the fun, no way, besides I\u2019m sure you enjoyed it, right?\u201d Gwen said, getting her answer from Zoe\u2019s look.\u00a0 Taking a look at the sky she paused.\u00a0 \u201cHow about a rest for a moment, get some water and a snack,\u201d she called over to Valerie.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a good spot up ahead where many rest,\u201d Valerie said.<\/p>\n

Gwen agreed and they continued on for a short while longer until reaching the spot.\u00a0 It looked well used as a spot many came to rest.\u00a0 Gwen did a quick sweep but found no one around.\u00a0 Aside from being a nice spot, it also could be used as an ambush or robbing point.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst time riding?\u201d Gwen asked as Zoe walked around a bit.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I spent most of the ride trying to not be aroused by that saddle,\u201d Zoe replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why you kept moving around, and here I thought I was squishing you,\u201d Gwen said before continuing.\u00a0 \u201cIt has possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI won\u2019t survive the trip,\u201d Zoe replied, sitting down and taking a bit to eat.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, do bandits use the road?\u201d Gwen said, looking over at Valerie and Lori.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot really, a few groups in Banding set up traps, they pose as merchants or other groups and when they are robbed, they are taken care of.\u00a0 The groups always change people and they\u2019ll use real merchants as well.\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cMost of the bandits go elsewhere for easier targets.\u00a0 There are a few, but they are either new, or looking for a specific target.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen nodded, knowing an active offensive against the groups usually made things better than a defensive position.\u00a0 She grabbed a bit to eat and sat down next to Zoe.\u00a0 \u201cWell, now I know why you were so quiet, at least most of the trip.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWas I?\u00a0 Yeah, I guess I was,\u201d Zoe said after thinking about it for a few seconds.\u00a0 \u201cBetween that saddle and what I was imagining later on, I\u2019m feeling a bit nervous.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLike a target?\u201d Gwen asked, seeing Zoe nod her head yes.\u00a0 It was a true confession of how much she had thought about tonight, and now Gwen needed to reassure Zoe.\u00a0 \u201cWell, one thing, I give you permission to use any force necessary to avoid being hurt by anyone.\u00a0 That\u2019s the strange thing about being a slave, you only have to obey your master.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry, I don\u2019t really want to be the center of attention,\u201d Zoe replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, but there might be some, well, some very open activities that we might have to partake in, otherwise suspicion will be case on us,\u201d Gwen said to her, who looked confused at that.\u00a0 \u201cLet\u2019s say that little display on the horse, it will seem tame in comparison, and you might even end up naked before the night is over.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, well I guess so, you\u2019ll be the only touching me?\u201d Zoe asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no plans on sharing if that\u2019s what you mean,\u2019 Gwen replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, but remember, paybacks are mounting,\u201d Zoe answered.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t doubt it at all,\u2019 Gwen said, as they finished up eating.\u00a0 They would be back on the road soon enough.<\/p>\n

Gwen entered another city of the Shadowlands, and one of the ones most well-known, Banding, the slave town.\u00a0 All around people were out, some were with slaves, and others were slaves running errands.\u00a0 Still she saw a few more normal people out on their own.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere we are,\u201d Valerie said, dismounting, followed by Lori.\u00a0 Gwen jumped down before helping Zoe down.\u00a0 She watched Valerie make the arrangements with the stable boy who took both the horses inside.<\/p>\n

\u201cA bit crowded, or is it always like this?\u201d Gwen said, looking at the crowd and wrinkling her nose.<\/p>\n

\u201cTypical for a large city in the Shadowlands,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cThey get business from both the river and the roads.\u00a0 It\u2019s the river which allows them to have a wider trading route, they even have trades with those of other empires and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen glanced around, quickly finding the guards as they walked around the town.\u00a0 They seemed to be a bit more relaxed than other towns, but that probably had to do with the slave mentally of the town.\u00a0 The group made their way down one of the main streets, before turning towards a side area.\u00a0 Gwen felt the relief of being away from the crowds.\u00a0 Continuing on a bit longer they walked up to one of the larger houses.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd here we are,\u201d Valerie said, walking up to the door and ringing the bell, waiting.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, Mistress Valerie, Master is waiting for you,\u201d an older gentleman said, moving aside allowing them inside the house.\u00a0 \u201cThe master is in the sun room.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you,\u201d Valerie replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd this is your guest?\u201d the man said, looking Gwen and Zoe over a bit.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, Mistress Gwen,\u201d Valerie stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome, how many rooms shall I prepare,\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cLori and I are sharing a room,\u201d Valerie said, as they looked over at Gwen.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll only need one room as well,\u201d Gwen answered.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat can be arranged,\u201d he said, leading them to a large open room with no room.\u00a0 Gwen assumed this to be the sun room he spoke of earlier.\u00a0 She spotted several young woman in the middle playing some sort of game.\u00a0 Off to one side, an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair and a moustache watched intently.<\/p>\n

\u201cScore, Nancy\u2019s team,\u201d the man said, looking over and spotting the newcomers into the room.\u00a0 \u201cAh, Valerie, welcome, welcome,\u201d he said.\u00a0 Standing he walked over giving her a hug.\u00a0 \u201cLovely to see you again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGries, pleasure as always,\u201d Valerie said.\u00a0 \u201cThis is a new backer of mine, Gwen from Corock.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, the Realm, yes, haven\u2019t gotten out there lately, been too dangerous you know,\u201d Greis said, looking at Gwen for a second.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, that\u2019s why I\u2019m here, looking for other areas to expand to,\u201d Gwen replied.\u00a0 \u201cBrought my newest slave along for training.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI see, you have wonderful taste,\u201d Greis said, looking Zoe over a bit too much.\u00a0 A man in his late twenties walked into the room, a bit taller than Greis, but a similar appearance.\u00a0 \u201cThis is my son, Leo.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen said hello, but watched as Leo made all the pleasantries while looked them over.\u00a0 His gaze lingered on Lisa and Zoe.\u00a0 Gwen felt her guard go up the moment he looked over at Zoe.\u00a0 She felt his fighting power along with the arrogant attitude he had.\u00a0 She reached out with her senses to gain an idea of how powerful he was.\u00a0 Once she had a grasp of his power she allowed her own to rise up, watching his eyes register shock.\u00a0 He turned leaving in a huff.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry about him,\u201d Greis said, shaking his head sadly.\u00a0 \u201cBeen trying to get him into the business, but his attitude, well, it comes from his mother I suppose.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t all get along, or want to be in business,\u201d Gwen replied.\u00a0 \u201cSeen too much of that foolishness in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRight, well you must be tired from your journey,\u201d Greis said, turning as the man who greeted them entered the room.\u00a0 \u201cCarl, are the guest bedrooms ready?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes sir,\u2019 he replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat, go and clean and rest up for supper, I\u2019ve prepared your favorite Valerie,\u201d Greis said to them.<\/p>\n

Gwen thanked him, before following Carl along to their rooms.\u00a0 She noticed the two rooms were next to each other before heading into the room along with Zoe.\u00a0 Sitting down she mentally went over what she had seen.\u00a0 The slaves in the house appeared in good health, and the girls had been having fun.\u00a0 The entire atmosphere shifted the moment Leo entered the room.<\/p>\n

\u201cGo ahead and unpack,\u201d Gwen said to Zoe, who looked back at her with a questioning glare.\u00a0 Gwen walked over to her, taking a moment to caress the cheek before whispering in her ear.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re probably being watched, so be good.\u201d<\/p>\n

She looked into the green eyes watching a frown form before turning to unpack.\u00a0 Gwen gave Zoe\u2019s bottom a pat before sitting down once more.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeo certainly seemed unhappy to see me,\u201d Gwen finally said, musing out loud.<\/p>\n

\u201cHave you seen him before?\u201d Zoe asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNope, realized his fighting power isn\u2019t as high as mine, he might have seen it as a challenge, or he\u2019ll back off.\u00a0 Guess we\u2019ll wait to see how stupid he is,\u201d Gwen said.\u00a0 \u201cIt will also be interesting to see if he tries anything on you or Lori.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was staring at me a bit too much,\u201d Zoe said.\u00a0 \u201cThen he went into a staring match with you before leaving.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s when I raised my fighting power,\u201d Gwen said.\u00a0 \u201cNow we\u2019ll have to be on guard, remember, you have every right to fight back, yell out, scream, to get away from him.\u00a0 I don\u2019t want him near you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gwen watched Zoe at that.\u00a0 She seemed to relax a bit at that as Gwen turned her thoughts back to Leo.\u00a0 He seemed like the type who used his power and wealth to get what he wanted.\u00a0 She figured he probably would try to make a move against her, but it was a matter of when and where.\u00a0 She wondered if he might target Zoe, and if he did, she would not let her out of her sight.<\/p>\n

Zoe continued to unpack, which actually was not that much.\u00a0 She knew she could use Zoe to lure Leo out, but that was not the mission, only to make sure nothing happened to anyone, including Valerie and Lori.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we\u2019re not together, try to stay close to Lori, if Leo tries anything, one of you come get me,\u201d Gwens aid to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you think he\u2019ll try something,\u201d Zoe asked, finished her chore.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, he\u2019s the stupid type,\u201d Gwen said.\u00a0 \u201cSees you two as easy targets, and will look for a situation where we might be vulnerable.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, so now what?\u201d Zoe asked, placing her hands on her hips.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome on over here,\u201d Gwen said, watching the blonde slowly walk over, a sway in her hips.\u00a0 The outfit covered enough, but she knew what lay underneath.<\/p>\n

Pulling Zoe closer so she had to straddle her legs Gwen ran a hand up the inner thigh, feeling the silky skin tremble at the touch.\u00a0 Stopping short of the goal she looked up into darkening green eyes.\u00a0 Smiling she caressed the other leg before an idea came to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s see how long you can remain standing, shall we,\u201d Gwen said, continuing the light caress.\u00a0 The game had begun.<\/p>\n
