Part 18<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Lynn shifted slightly in the chair.\u00a0 She was at the palace having her make-up and hair done in preparation for the big event tonight.\u00a0 She had texted Elsa a few times, seen Kristoff who wished her luck and that they would all be going together.\u00a0 Rapunzel wanted to go but already had other plans.<\/p>\n

She tried to get out of him what Elsa would be wearing, but was told only that it was a secret, but he couldn\u2019t wait to see Anna\u2019s outfit.\u00a0 With a waggle of his eyebrows he walked away leaving her to her imagination.<\/p>\n

Looking at the mirror she noticed her short black hair now was spiky, giving her an edgy appearance for her Jedi outfit.\u00a0 She already had the outfit on, designed by someone in the palace staff for such things.\u00a0 He had been actually excited about it, being a big Star Wars nerd and they spent quite a bit of time talking about the movies, Jedis and the Force.<\/p>\n

She even had one of the best replica lightsabers, with a purple blade.\u00a0 It was a recent development, and allowed a cosplayer to actually appear more like a Jedi, or Sith.\u00a0 It was only the hilt and though hologram technology a \u2018blade\u2019 would appear.\u00a0 It was only for show as it would go through anything so you couldn\u2019t even use it for pretend duels.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere we go, what do you think?\u201d the hairdresser said.\u00a0 Lynn looked up but didn\u2019t say anything knowing the hairdresser wasn\u2019t speaking to her, but her boss.<\/p>\n

\u201cVery nice,\u201d he said, moving all around her.\u00a0 \u201cI think we need a bit more foundation here, not much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHmm, yes, you\u2019re right,\u201d another person said, pulling out some makeup.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look forward to working with you, like the princesses, very nice, but we can always make you better,\u201d he said with a bit of pride.\u00a0 She thought that was a compliment, or at least hoped so.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd finally all these rumors will be over with,\u201d another one said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can stop being hounded by the press over who it is,\u201d the hairdresser said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, but then it will be questions like, what\u2019s she like, and that type of stuff, remember with Kristoff?\u201d the boss said.<\/p>\n

Lynn heard a collective groan.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat?\u201d she decided to ask.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe take our friendships with the royal family very personally.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd frown upon anyone who spreads lies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWith a new person, there will be many lies.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh,\u201d Lynn replied.\u00a0 \u201cI hope I\u2019m ready?\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you have any problems, just call that girlfriend of yours, she will do anything to help you out,\u201d the hairdresser said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome on, are we done?\u2019 the boss said suddenly, walking around Lynn scrutinizing every angle even as another person appeared.\u00a0 \u201cJust in time, we\u2019ve done all we can.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMa\u2019am, this way if you will,\u201d the man dressed in a black suit said.<\/p>\n

Lynn stood, thanked them all for their help and followed the man who she couldn\u2019t recall his name, but the one who had been in charge getting her ready today.\u00a0 The big time was fast approaching as she moved down the hallway to the underground basement where the cars and transports and such were kept.<\/p>\n

They approached a large, black, limo and she walked in to the spacious area with several seats and a small table off to one side.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrincess Elsa, Anna and Kristoff will be here shortly, do you require a drink?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes,\u201d Lynn said rather quickly as the butterflies started up.<\/p>\n

\u201cWater, or something stronger?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cStronger, but I don\u2019t know what.\u00a0 I\u2019m not much of a hard liquor drinker,\u201d Lynn replied thinking a beet probably wasn\u2019t something she should have now.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have just the thing,\u201d he said, pouring a clear liquid into a glass with ice and handing it to her.<\/p>\n

Taking a swallow she noticed the sweet, fruity flavor, not a harsh flavor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks,\u201d she said heading over to sit down and took out the lightsaber, flicking it on and off a few times nervously.<\/p>\n

The door opened again allowing Kristoff to walk in.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, you\u2019re here already, thought so,\u201d he said, dressed as Han Solo.\u00a0 \u201cAre you a Jedi Knight or Master?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMaster, of course,\u201d Lynn replied with a smile, as Anna stepped though.<\/p>\n

Lynn\u2019s eyebrows went up, she was dressed as slave Leia and if Lynn wasn\u2019t already attracted to Elsa, she could fall for the red head.\u00a0 The next person though was finally Elsa.<\/p>\n

She had to pick her jaw up from the floor, as Elsa walked over, dressed in the same slave Leia outfit, but a pale blue.\u00a0 Lynn couldn\u2019t keep her eyes from watching the sway of the hips as she moved over to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, you look great,\u201d Elsa said, sitting down giving Lynn a kiss on the cheek as her own brain still refused to function.<\/p>\n

\u201cThink you overloaded her brain,\u201d Anna said with a chuckle as Elsa giggled as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow,\u201d Lynn finally managed to say looking up into Elsa\u2019s eyes.\u00a0 She noticed her hair was braided and over her left shoulder.<\/p>\n

\u201cI take it you like the costume?\u201d Elsa said, giving a slight wiggle in the chair.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, I think I died and went to heaven,\u201d Lynn said.\u00a0 \u201cBut are you okay with it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, you could say I\u2019m showing off for you,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd, it will help you a bit as well, as everyone\u2019s focused on Elsa as well,\u201d Anna said.\u00a0 \u201cThe media is going to have a breakdown over all of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to have a breakdown, between going out there and you dressed like this,\u201d Lynn said, letting her eyes roam over Elsa\u2019s outfit, the curves and exposed skin.<\/p>\n

The statement caused Anna to laugh a bit.\u00a0 Everything about the entire situation seemed surreal to her.\u00a0 Sitting in a limo, with the princesses, going to a dance and Elsa was her girlfriend.\u00a0 Something by the end of the night the entire empire would know.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you drinking?\u201d Elsa asked.<\/p>\n

Lynn looked down at the drink still in her hand.\u00a0 \u201cOh, this, don\u2019t know, was given to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s see,\u201d Elsa said, taking a sip before Lynn could say anything.\u00a0 \u201cOh, nice, Fruity Comet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, well its good,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew distributor, wanted to make a hard liquor which didn\u2019t taste like hard liquor,\u201d Elsa said to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, he succeeded,\u201d Lynn said, before downing the rest.<\/p>\n

Anna started up a conversation about the party, even though it was called a dance it was really a fancy costume party.\u00a0 Anna mentioned she and Elsa should apply for the best costumes and made her case.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, don\u2019t worry too much, just try and enjoy yourself,\u201d Kristoff said to Lynn.\u00a0 \u201cBeen there done that, mine was going to a prom, and everyone was asking about me.\u00a0 At least you have some time to get prepared, I was tossed into the fire.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I recall that,\u201d Lynn said.\u00a0 \u201cA lot of bad information came out which was false.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, they hope to quell that this time,\u201d Kristoff said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe myself,\u201d Lynn said deciding it was the best advice she had gotten so far.<\/p>\n

All too quickly they arrived at the dance.\u00a0 She watched as Kristoff stepped out first, followed by Anna, part of the royal guidelines.\u00a0 They left the vehicle last, something she hadn\u2019t been concerned with when on vacation as everything was so informal.\u00a0 This was a formal event and she would have to be formal.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll do fine,\u201d Elsa said as Anna left.<\/p>\n

Lynn felt the butterflies start up and she half expected to throw up.\u00a0 Finally she felt Elsa push her forward and shakily she stepped out of the limo to the waiting crowd which seemed larger than she expected.<\/p>\n

Several were still oohing and aahing over what Anna was wearing and so didn\u2019t really see her.\u00a0 At least not at first but several seemed to take notice and the pictures started.\u00a0 Lynn snapped out of her nervous coma long enough to turn and wait for Elsa as she stepped out.<\/p>\n

The murmur was immediate as everyone seemed to whisper at once seeing Elsa step forward.\u00a0 She moved over to Lynn, and taking her hand made their way down the red carpet.<\/p>\n

Lynn remembered to smile, keenly aware of everything going on wondering if wasn\u2019t too late to go running away.\u00a0 They stopped in front of a large stage area where the celebrities would pose for the pictures.\u00a0 Already Lynn heard the rush of questions asking who she was to Elsa, who merely waved her hand and smiled.<\/p>\n

\u201cSmile,\u201d Elsa reminded.\u00a0 \u201cOr pose?\u201d<\/p>\n

It was reckless Lynn knew, but a sudden inspiration came to her.\u00a0 Grabbing the lightsaber, she activated it while wrapping an arm around Elsa\u2019s waist and smiled.\u00a0\u00a0 She was almost blinded by the flashes before Elsa led her away and she put the lightsaber away.\u00a0 Moving inside they made their way to the reserved table where Kristoff and Anna were waiting and grinning like idiots.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat will defiantly be front page,\u201d Kristoff said to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh yeah, and it looked hot,\u201d Anna said causing Lynn to blush.<\/p>\n

\u201cCaught me by surprise, but I liked it,\u201d Elsa said leaning into Lynn as they sat down.<\/p>\n

\u201cThough, might have been better had you been a Sith,\u201d Kristoff said.\u00a0 \u201cYou could have been a Sith Lord and her pleasure slave.\u201d<\/p>\n

That thought brought up some other images which she quickly pushed aside.<\/p>\n

\u201cOoh, its up,\u201d Anna said, looking at her phone.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it\u2019ll probably crash the server,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have techs working tonight to help the expected overload,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

A waiter came by asking for drinks, Lynn asked for another glass of Fruity Comet, it had been good and it would appear better than a beer.\u00a0 While waiting she looked out noticing almost everyone in the crowd trying to catch a glimpse of her.\u00a0 She also saw celebrities looking which seemed odd to her causing her to laugh slightly.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomething funny?\u201d Elsa asked looking around.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, just watching the celebrities, normally it would be reversed.\u00a0 I\u2019d be trying to get a glimpse of them instead of them trying to get a glimpse of me,\u201d Lynn replied with a smile as their drinks came back and a person approached.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so glad you accepted this year,\u201d the man said, he was an older gentleman, bad, in great shape, and wore an Imperial officer uniform.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe thank you for being persistent, and you give one of the best parties on All Hallow\u2019s Eve,\u201d Elsa said.\u00a0 Lynn thought he puffed up a bit at that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do, don\u2019t I,\u201d he said looking around.\u00a0 \u201cIt took a lot of work.\u201d<\/p>\n

The entire room was decorated in a Star Wars theme.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay I be so bold, as to ask who this lovely Jedi is?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

Elsa placed her hand on top of Lynn\u2019s.\u00a0 \u201cThis is Lynn, my girlfriend.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynn shifted uncomfortably as he seemed to be looking at her closely before leaning closer.<\/p>\n

\u201cA sight better than that prince, Ronald or whatever his name was,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cRanald?\u201d Lynn supplied.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, him, just didn\u2019t picture you with him, it seemed off,\u201d he said to them.\u00a0 Before they could say anything else another employee came up, also dressed in an Imperial uniform and whispered something to him.\u00a0 \u201cAh, if you\u2019ll excuse me, you\u2019ve caused some buzz I need to take care of some intruders trying really hard to get in.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry about that,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, don\u2019t be, I think my wife is enjoying herself now,\u201d he said leaving the table.<\/p>\n

Lynn was unsure what he meant by that but remained quiet, taking in the music, dancing and overall party.\u00a0 People standing around talking, some dancing, others showing off their sword skills in a mock sword fight between Sith and Jedi.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrincesses,\u201d another voice said, causing them to look and Lynn to be speechless.\u00a0 Jacob O\u2019Corke stood there, the most popular actor in the Empire.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan get your autograph?\u201d Anna asked suddenly.<\/p>\n

Lynn looked over to see Anna a bit star struck and realized she was like any twenty-year-old.\u00a0 The request took him by surprise as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor a fan, no problem,\u201d he said moving over to her.\u00a0 \u201cAnd should I make that out to Princess Anna?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes please,\u201d Anna replied.\u00a0 Lynn heard a slight giggle and looked over to see Elsa covering her mouth but was obviously laughing.\u00a0 Kristoff appeared to lean back and just watch not bothered at all.\u00a0 Lynn wondered about it then realized they were comfortable with their relationship, Anna loved him.<\/p>\n

She glanced at the rest of the crowd before turning to see Elsa looking at her and before she could say anything gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.<\/p>\n
