Part 16<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Elsa\u2019s eyes widened in shock at the fact that one of Lynn\u2019s friends had passed out and felt bad about it.\u00a0 The red-head never hit the floor due to the fact Marshmallow caught her and now appeared to be looking as much in shock as Lynn\u2019s friends had.<\/p>\n

She looked over at a sudden laughter as Lynn\u2019s male friend started laughing quite a bit.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, that\u2019s so typical, I\u2019ll have tease material for a week,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

His laughter had broken the tenseness which had been in the room.\u00a0 Elsa figured him to be Hans, the other two Brea and Jessica.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to know this story,\u201d the other friend said taking a seat at the table and looking at Lynn.\u00a0 \u201cI mean, you didn\u2019t tell any of us, I thought we were your friends?\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsa felt Lynn stiffen slightly and gave her a back a rub letting her know they were there for her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts complex Jessica,\u201d Lynn said, looking at Brea and then at the other two.\u00a0 \u201cBut, let\u2019s wait for Brea to return to consciousness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsa watched as the group dug into the pizza and beer following Lynn and feeling they were slightly alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t cause trouble?\u201d Elsa asked watching as Lynn sighed.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, it was my decision not to tell them, not yours,\u201d Lynn replied.\u00a0 \u201cAnd I\u2019ve been meaning to tell them now, didn\u2019t expect you all to meet at once.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay,\u201d Elsa replied, grabbing a slice of buffalo chicken and a beer before sitting down next to Lynn.<\/p>\n

They watched as Brea returned to the land of the living and looked at them all, eyes wide before looking over at Lynn.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not dreaming?\u00a0 Didn\u2019t hit my head?\u00a0 I\u2019m at your house and three princesses showed up, and Elsa said you\u2019re her girlfriend?\u201d Brea said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNope,\u201d Marchmallow said, handing her a beer, watching as she took a large swallow.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen what happened?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou passed out,\u201d Hans said, smiling.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh gods,\u201d Brea replied back burying her head into her hands causing Elsa to worry a bit until she finished.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019ll never live this down,\u201d she said looking up at Hans giving him a glaring look.\u00a0 \u201cI forbid you to speak of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, actually, if you wouldn\u2019t speak much of it, we\u2019d appreciate it,\u201d Elsa said speaking up causing them to look at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re still getting used to it ourselves,\u201d Lynn said<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you didn\u2019t tell us why?\u201d Brea asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, it did start while on vacation, we got a bit close,\u201d Lynn said.\u00a0 Elsa recalled that, one of the best few days she ever had as Lynn continued.\u00a0 \u201cI actually did drop my phone when I saw them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, in the hot tub,\u201d Eugene chuckled.\u00a0 \u201cShe went diving after it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t say anything because, well, I was angry with Kris and needed space from everyone, it was a perfect solution, spending time with them helped me relax,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou fell for the princess over a few days,\u201d Hans said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would,\u201d Brea said, which for some reason caused Elsa to giggle slightly.\u00a0 \u201cReally, who wouldn\u2019t?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was like having a super-secret all to myself, and I feared telling anyone might spoil it,\u201d Lynn replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd when she left, she wanted to concentrate on her studies,\u201d Elsa said.\u00a0 \u201cEven shunning my advances.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was hard,\u201d Lynn said, giving Elsa a grin and quick kiss to make up for the pout.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I really tried to seduce you,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, and that swim suit almost broke me, if I hadn\u2019t been on the rebound from Kris, well, we would have,\u201d Lynn replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cWait, wait, wait,\u201d Hans suddenly said holding up his hands.\u00a0 \u201cYou mean, that picture was real?\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsa blushed slightly knowing he had seen the picture, Lynn telling her about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen, it wasn\u2019t fake like I assumed?\u201d Hans said, his voice trailing off.\u00a0 \u201cBut, I thought, I mean.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps you should stop while you\u2019re ahead,\u201d Olaf said with a laugh.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m afraid that was my hips, and skin color,\u201d Elsa replied with a smile.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan I see it again?\u201d Hans said suddenly, his eyes lighting up.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo!\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyways, so you two kept in touch during that last semester?\u201d Jessica said from where she sat.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe texted every day, and she even came to visit me the morning after Independence Day,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIs that why you were so moody?\u201d Hans said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, she thought I was having too much fun with Mr. Prince can\u2019t keep his hands off my butt,\u201d Elsa said, letting her annoyance at the prince come though.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the news kept saying what a cute couple, made me doubt what we might be having,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo glad I stopped by,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow did you manage that?\u201d Lynn said turning to Elsa.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, planned it with the help of Anna, and Olaf and Marshmallow,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd mother,\u201d Anna said speaking up causing Elsa to freeze at that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMother knew, I, well, she cornered me and I told her,\u201d Anna said.\u00a0 \u201cShe helped as well, probably wouldn\u2019t have happened without her, she kept father occupied.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsa thought she had been so smart, if her mother knew, how many others now knew?<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, this is an interesting development,\u201d Brea said finally.\u00a0 \u201cNo more secrets, okay?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, when will you be telling everyone?\u201d Rapunzel asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure, I\u2019d like some more time,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ll find out, better to announce it on your time,\u201d Eugene said from where he sat.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll talk to mother,\u201d Elsa said finally<\/p>\n

\u201cSounds like a good idea, if she helped you sneak out, she might have some insight on this,\u201d Lynn said, giving Elsa\u2019s hand a squeeze.<\/p>\n

The rest of the night went much better after Lynn\u2019s friends loosened up to the fact they had royalty in the house.\u00a0 Elsa gave Lynn a kiss before leaving as they made their way back to the palace.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s nice Elsa,\u201d Rapunzel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou knew that,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe most of her time with you, but even I could see there might be something else there, glad you reached out to grab it,\u201d Rapunzel said, giving Eugene a hug as well.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks,\u201d Elsa said, now she had to figure out how to approach her parents with the next step.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Lynn looked on a bit bored.\u00a0 They had finished setting up the exhibit and now people were going through the final touches and then she and Lance would walk through the exhibit to critique everything and make final adjustments in lighting and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cLynn,\u201d Lance said sticking his head into her office.\u00a0 \u201cI got a request, the king and queen wish to meet with you this morning, as soon as you\u2019re able in the king\u2019s office.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynn felt her stomach knot up with that bit of news.\u00a0 She was unsure what they might want.<\/p>\n

\u201cBetter to not keep them waiting,\u201d he said to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay,\u201d she said standing.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, we\u2019ll go through the exhibit when you return, so don\u2019t worry about that,\u201d he said, giving her a wink and walked out leaving her confused.<\/p>\n

She made her way down the corridor and actually got lost before asking for directions.\u00a0 Finally arriving at the destination and looked in seeing a secretary.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn, Lynn Sauer, come in, the king\u2019s expecting you, just go on through,\u201d she said to her.<\/p>\n

Lynn approached the door apprehensively and looked back at the secretary who merely nodded and shooed her to go inside.<\/p>\n

Opening the door she peered in seeing both the king and queen standing in the room.\u00a0 They both looked at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, sorry your majesty, you wanted to see me?\u201d Lynn asked,<\/p>\n

To her surprise it was the queen to walk over.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome in Lynn,\u201d she said, opening the door and allowing her inside.<\/p>\n

Lynn stood awkwardly unsure what to say or what to even do having never been in their presence.\u00a0 Elsa walked in before Lynn could say anything and looked around before she appeared to get angry and stood in front of her.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you trying to intimidate her, or something else?\u201d Elsa said to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cElsa, I just got here,\u201d Lynn said causing Elsa to turn around and look her over.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut this does concern you two,\u201d the king said looking at them both.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not giving up my relationship,\u201d Elsa said, the words were warming to Lynn.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe neither,\u201d she said speaking up deciding she had to stand with her girlfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m glad you two are together on this, but your father means something else,\u201d the queen said looking at Elsa.\u00a0 \u201cMore like, people are starting to talk about you two.\u00a0 We think its time you make an announcement to the rest of the Empire.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynn swallowed at that, unsure she was ready for such a step.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been careful,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, you think you have,\u201d her mother said.\u00a0 \u201cRumors among the palace staff have begun.\u00a0 Once that happens it will only be a matter of time before the press gets wind of it, and once that happens it will be all over the news and entertainment news.\u00a0 You\u2019ll be the number one rumor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d prefer to tell them on our terms, it usually works better, especially for us to release certain bits of information than the press,\u201d her father said, everyone knowing he was speaking of Lynn\u2019s uncle.<\/p>\n

Lynn gave it some thought while Elsa and her parents continued to talk.\u00a0 She knew what the king said was the truth and they had been seeing each other a bit too much.\u00a0 She recalled her boss\u2019 reaction to the king asking for a meeting, the wink at the end.\u00a0 She realized Elsa was still protesting and laid a hand on her shoulder causing her to stop.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s right,\u201d she said to her.\u00a0 \u201cWe should do this on our terms, but we can\u2019t wait forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut our relationship is still new,\u201d Elsa said, almost as if she was pouting.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook at it this way, you won\u2019t have to sneak around to visit me,\u201d Lynn said.\u00a0 \u201cOr I could come visit you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo bedroom visits,\u201d the king said suddenly.\u00a0 She looked over to see him and noticed at that moment he wasn\u2019t the king of the empire, but a father looking at his daughter\u2019s boyfriend, or in this case, girlfriend.\u00a0 Elsa seemed to want to protest from the look on her face.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course,\u201d Lynn said nodding her head in agreement.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, we\u2019ll need an event for you to come out in, something big,\u201d the king said.<\/p>\n

Lynn was unaccustomed to such thing and waited to see what they would have planned knowing her life was about to change again.\u00a0 She imagined herself walking down some red carpet beside Elsa with everyone taking pictures of her and she wasn\u2019t sure if she could even handle such a thing.\u00a0 Already the nerves of going though that bothered her, looking up at feeling a hand on her arm surprised to see the queen looking at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome with me,\u201d she said softly, tugging her away from the other two.\u00a0 \u201cLet them come up with an event.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynn looked at Elsa and her father and only saw a nod at Elsa and with a hesitant smile allowed herself to be led away.\u00a0 The queen was about the same height as Elsa, with blonde reddish hair which was probably where Anna got her hair from, the king had more blond hair like Elsa.<\/p>\n

\u201cTea?\u2019 the queen said motioning towards the tea set up on the patio.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, no thank you your majesty,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Lynn thought she saw a slight twitch of her lips before she spoke again.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts only natural to be nervous, I still am,\u201d she said surprising Lynn by the admission.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, you\u2019re always so calm and composed,\u201d Lynn said recalling seeing her on videos.<\/p>\n

\u201cYears of practice to show a certain exterior,\u201d she replied back to Lynn.\u00a0 \u201cWe don\u2019t expect you to have that ability right away, and we\u2019ll help you out, but if you really want to be in Elsa\u2019s life, it\u2019s a step you have to take.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynn looked at her and understood what she was trying to say.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know,\u201d Lynn said.\u00a0 \u201cI guess, I had hoped we would have a bit more time before I had to deal with the reporters.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, that\u2019s a bit why Mr. Peters suggested Koenig Oaks,\u201d the queen said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, he does know,\u201d Lynn said hearing the queen chuckle.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe came and asked, seeing Elsa come by a few times,\u201d she replied.\u00a0 \u201cElsa had never been down there before and wanted to make sure he, or you, didn\u2019t get into trouble.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I understand,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome, let\u2019s see what the two brainiacs have come up with,\u201d she said, giving Lynn a smile.<\/p>\n
