Part 15<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Elsa made her way down the corridor, actually more like sneaking down the corridor towards one particular office.\u00a0 Not seeing anyone she moved one down before reaching the door in question and quickly entered and closed the door behind her.<\/p>\n

Standing in the room, bent over unpacking a box and looking at her strangely was Lynn, dressed in a sharp business suit, something which suited her.\u00a0 The dark-haired woman stood straight up, even taller in heels, quickly covering the distance and giving Elsa a hug.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, what are you doing here princess?\u00a0 Playing hooky?\u201d Lynn asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t come see my girlfriend?\u201d Elsa replied with a smile.<\/p>\n

\u201cGirlfriend huh, is that how you greet her?\u201d Lynn replied with a smile as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow about this instead,\u201d Elsa said, picking up a bit on the bantering and kissed her instead.\u00a0 She had meant it to only be a playful kiss which quickly heated up as they broke apart, gazing into each other\u2019s eyes.\u00a0 \u201cThat better?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh yeah,\u201d Lynn replied.\u00a0 \u201cYou sure you didn\u2019t have any experience in kissing?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly you,\u201d Elsa answered before breaking apart and looking around.\u00a0 \u201cSo, how are you settling in?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s only my first day,\u201d Lynn said.\u00a0 \u201cAnd I thought you said you\u2019d wait a few days to come see me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCouldn\u2019t help it, the last time I saw you was at your graduation,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo much for patience,\u201d Lynn stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve bene patient, all summer,\u201d Elsa said pouting a bit which earned her another hug.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m just so glad I got this job,\u201d Lynn said.\u00a0 \u201cNo one was returning anything, thought I\u2019d have to flip burgers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsa said nothing but scratched her ear at that comment.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, did you have something to do with this?\u201d Lynn asked, stepping back and her hands on her hips.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, after I heard what your ex had done, I came here to see if it was true,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou heard?\u00a0 B-But I didn\u2019t say anything to you,\u201d Lynn replied, now looking confused.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, actually Kristoff did, he heard from Olaf,\u201d Elsa stated hoping her girlfriend wasn\u2019t mad.<\/p>\n

She watched as Lynn frowned then a realization came to her. \u00a0\u201cThey overheard what Kris said at graduation.\u00a0 You didn\u2019t have to.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just evened the playing field,\u201d Elsa said, \u201cI didn\u2019t force them to take you, only to consider you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why they called me for an interview,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you mad?\u201d Elsa asked, looking Lynn in the eyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, a bit, well, happy,\u201d the reply came surprising Elsa.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s nice knowing someone is on my side.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsa started to say more when her phone buzzed, and looked down seeing a notification for her next meeting.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d love to stay, but I have to get back,\u201d Elsa stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cHurry back,\u201d Lynn said, giving Elsa another kiss before shooing her out the door.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she calls me the tease,\u201d Elsa breathed before making her way back to the inner palace and her next meeting.\u00a0 However her mind was already on ways to meet up with Lynn.\u00a0 It would be interesting for sure.<\/p>\n

Lynn looked up as her boss, Lance Peters, walked into her office.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow are you settling?\u201d he asked her.\u00a0 She had been here now for a week.<\/p>\n

\u201cGoing well, think I\u2019m getting the hang of things around here,\u201d Lynn replied.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s a lot different than what we were taught in school.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, they always go for some academic, I keep telling them this is how things are done, but they don\u2019t listen,\u201d Lance stated which explained why he was helpful and explaining several things they did.\u00a0 \u201cAside from that, how are you settling in otherwise?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, haven\u2019t found a good place yet,\u201d Lynn replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are some very nice close apartments,\u201d he said to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, with a long waiting list,\u201d Lynn replied back to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, working here will help if you mention that, or if you want me to talk to them I can,\u201d he said to her.\u00a0 \u201cBelieve me, a close commute is very nice even if you go the monorail way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynn gave it some thought, knowing it would be better than the hotel and her belongings in storage at the moment.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019ll consider it after lunch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat reminds me, I\u2019ll be at a meeting this afternoon with the king and queen, think you can handle being on your own?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think so, we\u2019re still packing up of the last exhibit, and the new one hasn\u2019t arrived, and shouldn\u2019t until next week,\u201d Lynn replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, and give some thought to what I said about the apartments, or a house, there are some nice ones nearby as well,\u201d he said to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd expensive,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot all of them, the ones towards the back are general cheaper, bought my first house back there,\u201d he replied.\u00a0 \u201cKoenig Oaks, and they are gated so no unwelcomed visitors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lynn considered that, it was probably something she would want considering her girlfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, there are a few houses available there right now, but don\u2019t wait, they go fast,\u201d he said, walking back to the door and pausing.\u00a0 \u201cIn fact, you could go this afternoon, there isn\u2019t much going on.\u201d<\/p>\n

He gave her a wink and left the office causing her to wonder what was going on.\u00a0 It felt like he was forcing her to go out now.\u00a0 She gave it some thought before getting back to work, looking at some documents and going over the figures of what to expect with the next exhibit which she would help be in charge of with Lance\u2019s help.<\/p>\n

A soft knock caused her to look up for her work to see a sheepish looking Elsa standing there as Lynn waved her in.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d Lynn said, giving Elsa a hug while closing the door so no one passing by would see her.\u00a0 \u201cYou know, if you keep coming here every day people will start to talk.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know,\u201d Elsa said.\u00a0 \u201cAny word on a place?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, Lance pretty much told me to go for a house in Koenig Oaks,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, that\u2019s close, and has good security, a lot of palace workers live there, as well as senators who have temporary homes while they are in office,\u201d Elsa replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure I can afford it though,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHave you looked?\u201d Elsa asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, no, but it is a more expensive area,\u201d Lynn finally replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cTake your boss\u2019s advice and go look this afternoon,\u201d Elsa said.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019d feel better if you were there rather than some hotel.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, I\u2019ll go look, but no promises,\u201d Lyn replied, looking at her girlfriend.\u00a0 \u201cNow, you better get back before someone misses you.\u201d<\/p>\n

With a peck on the cheek she watched Elsa slip back out and down the hallway.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Lynn looked around unable to actually believe it.\u00a0 She had bought a house!\u00a0 Of course her friends were completely stunned as well when she told them.\u00a0 Hans, being well, Hans, wanted a party to celebrate.\u00a0 He informed the others and they would come out.<\/p>\n

Lynn looked around knowing she didn\u2019t have much furniture yet, but a table, chairs, a furnished bedroom, a sofa, and TV.\u00a0 The very basics for the house.\u00a0 She was thankful for the help by Olaf and Marshmallow who helped move her sofa again saying it was nothing for them, then asking if it was true she was having a party.<\/p>\n

The doorbell rang causing her to look at the screen and see her friends standing there.\u00a0 Quickly moving over she opened the door allowing them in.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow, can\u2019t believe this,\u201d Hans said looking around.\u00a0 \u201cLots of potential.\u201d<\/p>\n

She gave Brea and Jessica a hug as well as they walked in as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe you all came,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, you\u2019re the first to own a house,\u201d Brea said.\u00a0 \u201cWe have to check it out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd a nice job at the palace museum, bet it pays good,\u201d Jessica said.\u00a0 \u201cMy aunt worked for the royal family years ago, says it was one of the best jobs she had.\u201d<\/p>\n

They settled down at the table and spoke of classes which the others were still taking, complaining of professor and more when the talk turned to dinner.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, what do you want?\u201d Jessica asked them.<\/p>\n

\u201cLots of places deliver,\u201d Lynn replied, having looked beforehand on who delivered and who didn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cPizza is always good,\u201d Hans said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd beer,\u201d Brea said.\u00a0 \u201cWe could get Marshmallow to pick it up?\u00a0 He said he\u2019d come.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, they were going to be late, working on a delivery across the planet,\u201d Lynn replied having heard from them earlier seeing a bit of disappointment in Brea\u2019s eyes.\u00a0 The two had struck up some sort of weird relationship, not that Lynn could speak about such things, she was hiding her relationship from the others.<\/p>\n

As they were discussing what to have the doorbell rang again.\u00a0 Lynn stood to look at the monitor.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, it appears they got off early,\u201d Lynn said heading to the door to allow Olaf and Marshmallow inside.\u00a0 Opening the door she froze.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d Olaf said, giving her a hug and passing by inside.\u00a0 He wasn\u2019t the problem, nor was it his brother who also gave her a hug and headed inside, it was the people behind him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d the voice said, someone she hadn\u2019t seen since her vacation.\u00a0 \u201cAnna wanted to join,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we brought pizza and beer,\u201d another male voice said, as Lynn looked out to see not only was Kristoff and Anna there, but so was Rapunzel and Eugene and behind all of them, Elsa who looked a bit shyly at her.<\/p>\n

She noticed that Eugene was holding a stack of pizza, while Kristoff had a couple of cases of beer.\u00a0 She stepped aside to allow them in before greeting her girlfriend.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re not mad, are you?\u201d Elsa asked.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019m not pushing things?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUm, my friends are here,\u201d Lynn said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know,\u201d Elsa replied, wrapping an arm around Lynn.<\/p>\n

If Elsa was okay with it, Lynn was as well.\u00a0 It suddenly seemed exciting to introduce Elsa to them, something she had been excited and dreading at once.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s go shake your friends out of their stupor,\u201d Elsa said with a giggle.<\/p>\n

Lynn frowned then turned to look into the house to see three silent friends, eyes wide, mouths open, stunned at the turn of events.\u00a0 She closed the door and moved into the house seeing the others making themselves at home as she turned to her friends, with Elsa standing right beside her.<\/p>\n

\u201cUm,\u201d Brea finally managed to say causing Elsa to giggle again.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, that\u2019s better than your reaction, you dropped your phone,\u201d Elsa said.<\/p>\n

That statement seemed to cause a reaction.<\/p>\n

\u201cWait, when did you meet, um, oh, so sorry, your majesties,\u201d Jessica said, then doing a curtsy.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have to do that,\u201d Anna said.\u00a0 \u201cHere, have a slice of pizza, its good, and the beer is a local brewer, fall special.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really good,\u201d Kristoff said, taking one and opening it as Rapunzel set out some plates.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan\u2019t wait, starving,\u201d Olaf said, opening a pizza box.\u00a0 \u201cWe brought an assortment, pepperoni, ham and their favorite, buffalo chicken.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said that pointing in the direction of Anna and Elsa.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know them?\u201d Brea asked, looking up at Marshmallow.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, Kristoff is one our friends,\u201d he replied back to her.\u00a0 \u201cIn fact, I was the one who dared him to ask Anna out for prom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut, then, well, how do you know Lynn?\u201d Jessica stammered out obviously confused by everything and still slightly stunned.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, well I met them during my vacation at the beginning of summer,\u201d Lynn stated sheepishly.\u00a0 \u201cThey were the others on my floor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd we became friends, hung out together and saw the sights, had a lot more fun with you than without you,\u201d Eugene stated<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, you\u2019ve been keeping in touch all this time?\u201d Brea asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow else would I keep in touch with my girlfriend,\u201d Elsa said.\u00a0 With those words she gave Lynn a kiss on the cheek, which would have been sweet if not for the fact Brea passed out.<\/p>\n
