Part 28<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jessica woke up feeling disorientated from the dream she had and quickly looked around seeing her quarters on board the ship.\u00a0 She looked at her own clothing and, with a sigh, was glad it was what she had on last night.\u00a0 Now she had to have a talk with a small Jedi and see what she had done, what power she had used and how to block it.<\/p>\n

She quickly dressed and made her way out of the room and down the corridor towards the room where she had the Jedi prisoner.\u00a0 The guards were still on duty as Jessica passed right by them.\u00a0 This was something between her and the Jedi.<\/p>\n

Gaia was lying down but looked up as Jessica entered the room and made her way right over to her.\u00a0 Looking down in the blonde\u2019s eyes she noticed a hint of the same look she had seen during the dream.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat type of trickery have you done to me?\u201d Jessica asked the Jedi.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe, trickery, I have no idea what you\u2019re talking about,\u201d Gaia replied back to her.\u00a0 \u201cIf anything, you interrupted a great dream of mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessica watched as Gaia looked her over, up and down before replying.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to know what you were doing in my dream,\u201d Jessica demanded trying for the direct approach.\u00a0 \u201cAnd don\u2019t lie to me little girl.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gaia\u2019s eyes narrowed at the statement.\u00a0 \u201cLittle?\u00a0 I swear you are infuriating,\u201d Gaia replied to her.\u00a0 \u201cI have a great dream and you come in here telling me about yours.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s because mine is more important than yours,\u201d Jessica replied back to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cSpeaks the person who has me held prisoner,\u201d Gaia replied sitting up.\u00a0 \u201cI didn\u2019t know I was that big of a threat to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are impossible, you know that right?\u201d Jessica replied back to her.<\/p>\n

They looked at each for several seconds.\u00a0 Jessica was going over the dream in her mind wondering when the tables had turned in her seduction of this woman.\u00a0 Now it appeared the woman was trying to seduce her, and that look she was giving her.\u00a0 There was no fear, but something else.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is getting confusing,\u201d Gaia replied back breaking the silence and shaking her head.\u00a0 \u201cI have no idea what you\u2019re talking about, but I was having a great dream where you were dressed, well, sexily, despite that attitude.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t do leather,\u201d Jessica growled watching as Gaia\u2019s eye widened.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t say anything about leather,\u201d she replied.\u00a0 \u201cHow where you in my dream?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t, you were in mine,\u201d Jessica replied back to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cImpossible, I don\u2019t know how to do that, but you, you\u2019re strong enough to do something like that,\u201d Gaia replied back to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cEnough, I\u2019ll figure this out, and then we\u2019ll be able to block it,\u201d Jessica replied back to her.\u00a0 Things were getting complex and she had no patience.\u00a0 \u201cAs for impossible, you\u2019re the impossible one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessica walked back out and decided to head to the bridge.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you sure now is the time,\u201d a voice said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, she\u2019s thinking the recent uprising and how easily she put it down will make others back down for a while.\u00a0 She will be at her weakest,\u201d the man replied back.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right,\u201d the first voice said.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019ll do it, I\u2019m still unsure, about it all.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry, everything\u2019s in place,\u201d the man said as the communications went dead.\u00a0 He stood, looking around to make sure no one else was around before heading out.\u00a0 Today was going to be a good day, and soon, he would have an empire all to himself to rule.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Jessica walked onto the bridge in full Darth Rizon mode and quickly looked over at Tyi who standing nearby.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s the situation?\u201d she asked him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should be arriving any minute now,\u201d he replied back to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood,\u201d she replied.\u00a0 \u201cWhen we arrive head to the planet\u2019s surface to prepare for my arrival.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes my lord,\u201d Tyi replied back.<\/p>\n

\u201cExcellent,\u201d Jessica said looking back out at the window and seeing the ship move though hyperspace.\u00a0 \u201cSoon it will be time to hit the Republic and they won\u2019t know what hit them.\u201d<\/p>\n

She would take her place among the stars as one of its rightful rulers.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

The flagship of Darth Rizon\u2019s fleet arrived at the planet.\u00a0 Wtihin a few minutes a shuttle departed the ship with Tyi on board to head down to the surface and prepare for the arrival of Darth Rizon.\u00a0 He sat in the shuttle and looked out the window at the ship as a small smile came to his lips thinking about what was about to happen.\u00a0 She had no idea at all what he was capable of, he had played his part so well and now, well now, it was time to act.<\/p>\n

He turned to the communicator and activated it waiting until the face came onto the screen.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat?\u00a0 We\u2019re in position,\u201d the man replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, then its time, open fire,\u201d Tyi replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith pleasure,\u201d the man replied.\u00a0 \u201cA woman playing as leader, time to take her down.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyi turned around to watch knowing that no one board the ship would have a clue about what was going to happen.\u00a0 The ship had the most loyal to Darth Rizon, something he had seen personally.\u00a0 The other ships had been manned by more loyal personal to him.<\/p>\n

The turbolasers began firing, and a ship with no shields would be a sitting target and quickly destroyed.\u00a0 His coup was all but assured to succeed.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Jessica felt restless, an uneasiness in her as she had left the bridge.\u00a0 The ship had arrived and Tyi had left to go to the planet\u2019s surface, yet something felt out of place.\u00a0 Looking up she found herself at the room where the Jedi was and entered.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, you find something out?\u201d Gaia asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d Jessica started, then stopped as something felt very wrong, and ebb in the Force.\u00a0 She walked out just outside, leaving the door open.\u00a0 \u201cCaptain, is everything all right up there?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes my lord, why do you ask?\u201d the captain replied back.<\/p>\n

\u201cA feeling, expect trouble,\u201d Jessica said to him turning to see Gaia standing at the door and look at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cExpecting trouble?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlways,\u201d Jessica replied.\u00a0 However, as she was about to say more the ship suddenly lurched almost tossing her off her feet.\u00a0 \u201cBy the Force, what was that she yelled as the guards fell down as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy lord, we\u2019re under attack by the escorts,\u201d the captain said over the communicator.<\/p>\n

\u201cTraitors,\u201d Jessica replied as the ship shuddered again.<\/p>\n

\u201cShield generators are damage, we won\u2019t be able to bring up the ships, and engines are reporting damage as well,\u201d the captain said.<\/p>\n

\u201cReturn fire if you can,\u201d Jessica said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes my lord,\u2019 the captain replied signing off.<\/p>\n

Jessica turned as another hit struck the ship causing everyone to fall over.\u00a0 She watched in horror as the blonde struck her head and remained motionless.\u00a0 Without thought she raced over to check on the Jedi, noticing a small cut above her eye.<\/p>\n

A groan from the ship indicated the ship\u2019s hull was failing.\u00a0 With little regard to what was going on around her she picked up the small blonde and raced towards the escape pods.\u00a0 People were racing around trying to figure out what to do as she found the closest one and placed Gaia into it as the blonde regained consciousness and the doors closed leaving Jessica behind.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat?\u201d Gaia stated, a bit disoriented by what was going on.\u00a0 She saw blue eyes lock with hers before the door closed and the escape pod was launched.<\/p>\n

She could see out into space and noticed that a battle appeared to be going on between two ships which appeared very similar.\u00a0 The ship she had just launched from seemed to be taking a lot of damage.\u00a0 She noticed escape pods all over the place when the ship seemed to roll slightly before exploding.<\/p>\n

\u201cNO,\u201d Gaia found herself yelling as she rose to look out the window.\u00a0 \u201cNo,\u201d this time in a whisper before slumping into the chair unsure what to do next.\u00a0 Her heart felt heavy with the knowledge that the woman was probably dead.\u00a0 The unexpected pain at the thought was almost unbearable to her as she wondered what to do next.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Luke watched as the shuttle landed this time he was told there was a surprise waiting for him on board.\u00a0 Someone he probably wanted to meet but had no idea who that might be.\u00a0 Rumors were swirling rapidly in the past couple of days regarding the problems with the Rizonians and the Sith Lord.\u00a0 Many of these rumors were conflicting.<\/p>\n

He knew there were a few recruits on board the shuttle.\u00a0 The door opened allowing several people to walk out, and he noticed a blonde head of someone familiar to him.\u00a0 Gaia had finally returned after being out of contact some time.\u00a0 He made his way towards he noticing that she appeared different now.<\/p>\n

\u201cGaia,\u201d he said as he approached her.\u00a0 \u201cThank the Force you survived, what happened?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was captured by the new Sith Empress,\u201d Gaia said, her voice sounding a bit flat which was unusual for her.\u00a0 \u201cYou don\u2019t have to worry about her anymore, she\u2019s dead.\u201d<\/p>\n

The way she said it, and the look in her eyes said more to Luke than the words making him wonder what had happened, and had Gaia somehow been forced to kill.\u00a0 If she had she would need time to heal and recover, but something else nagged at him, a feeling that she might never recover.<\/p>\n

He looked up as Kyle approached him with a data pad and handed it to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cLatest reports on the mysterious Sith group,\u201d Kyle said to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnything good,\u201d Luke said switching the subject off Gaia.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, intelligence indicates that the Sith Lord was probably killed, and the new person isn\u2019t as good at keeping things together.\u00a0 It appears a civil war has broken out among them,\u201d Kyle said to him.\u00a0 \u201cthey are making mistakes they didn\u2019t\u2019 in the beginning, and it appears we now have at least one spy in their ranks sending us information that the Rizonians were the Sith invaders.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUnbelievable,\u201d Luke said at that.\u00a0 They were fooled.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can say that, I can\u2019t believe that the woman I met was this Sith Lord,\u201d Fie-Tel said walking up to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnything else we have on them?\u201d Luke asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, seems like she was blackmailing one of the senators in the Republic to help them out.\u00a0 It seems when this Darth Raven, or so he called her, was killed the new person wasn\u2019t as good at keeping him on their side,\u201d Kyle said.\u00a0 \u201cShe was using the distraction to split our attention, and was using ships from Darth Raven\u2019s fleet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAny idea what to expect next?\u201d Luke asked, wondering if the academy should prepare for another attack.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone\u2019s preparing for an attack, I suggested we prepare here as well, being the Jedi Academy we are a prime target even if we\u2019re not part of the Republic,\u201d Kyle stated.\u00a0 \u201cLeia asked if the Jedi would help in this as well, she thinks that Sith warriors will be in this battle.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf they are, we\u2019ll give all the help we can,\u201d Luke said looking over at Fie-Tel.\u00a0 \u201cWe have another problem, if you haven\u2019t heard yet Gaia has returned stating that the Sith Empress was dead but didn\u2019t say anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe confirms that, which means our intel is correct and explains the sudden civil war as different factions try for control of the empire she created,\u201d Fie-Tel replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope that continues until we\u2019re ready to strike back,\u201d Kyle said.\u00a0 \u201cThe Republic is gathering forces to take back the conquered world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, gathered a group of Jedi to go with them,\u201d Luke said to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can do that,\u201d Kyle said, walking away to carry out those orders.<\/p>\n

Luke turned back to Fie-Tel.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, Gaia isn\u2019t all right?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m afraid she might have been forced to kill the Sith Lord,\u201d Luke said, recalling his two visions, one where Gaia joined the Sith Lord, the other where she defeated her.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou want me to speak with her?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I will,\u201d Luke said, turning and making his way to her quarters.\u00a0 He was the Jedi Master, he should do this and help out one of his Jedi.\u00a0 If he couldn\u2019t do this, then he wasn\u2019t much of a leader.<\/p>\n
