The Sith Empress<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Part 26<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jessica stumbled slightly at the look Gaia gave her.\u00a0 It was something she had never seen before.\u00a0 There was no hatred in her eyes, or fear, or even disdain, but instead it was full of something else, which had a power she never encountered before.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho are you?\u201d Jessica said, quickly recovering, grabbing her lightsaber, activating it and pointing at the young Jedi.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo threat to you,\u201d Gaia replied back, not breaking the eye contact.\u00a0 She was looking for something in those blue eyes while ignoring the lightsaber.\u00a0 Her instinct said look at her, don\u2019t back down and do not be afraid.<\/p>\n

Some small voice in her she would not be harmed.\u00a0 The stand-off lasted only seconds but felt like an eternity to her as a battle occurred, one which she had never fought before.\u00a0 Part of her felt she was fighting for her very soul.<\/p>\n

With a flourish the lightsaber dropped and deactivated.\u00a0 With a flash of red robes the woman turned and walked out of the room but not before Gaia saw the confusion in the eyes.<\/p>\n

Gaia\u2019s shoulders slumped slightly knowing this battle had only just started.\u00a0 It was scary for her to put forth only caring, perhaps even love towards the woman, a woman she barely knew.\u00a0 Yet for some reason Gaia could not accept her life without the woman.<\/p>\n

It led to another question, what was her real name?\u00a0 Rizon had to be some other name, a name she picked up somewhere.\u00a0 She pondered what the future might hold and, perhaps, if she could change Rizon without fighting her.\u00a0 She hadn\u2019t lied when she said she felt the woman coming.\u00a0 For now she would focus on that feeling.<\/p>\n

Jessica walked back into the meeting room with the President of the New Republic the next day.\u00a0 Again she felt the presence of a Jedi in the room.\u00a0 Part of her wondered if he had felt it when she put down the rebellion against her yesterday.<\/p>\n

The meeting were boring so far, but had been a necessary option as her forces continued in gathering strength.\u00a0 She had to buy time before attacking the Republic outright.\u00a0 So far recruitment had been up and with the capture of several planets she has beginning to form a new government and economy under her control.<\/p>\n

The President of the New Republic was running last according to an aide, something had come up of strategic importance.\u00a0 She understood what that was, another attack by her forces.\u00a0 Even the Jedi would be eliminated when she struck.<\/p>\n

That thought led her to the small Jedi she had captured and the events which had occurred yesterday.\u00a0 Gaia had surprised her and shaken her more than anything else, even the rebellion.\u00a0 She had anticipated that, but not the look in the blonde\u2019s eyes when she stepped into the room.<\/p>\n

Her thoughts were interrupted by the man she determined was a Jedi.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you aware of the Force?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, we\u2019ve had encountered with the Jedi in the past,\u201d Jessica replied back to him.\u00a0 \u201cBut there are still many mysteries in the universe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTrue, its just we don\u2019t have any records of your empire, I was looking through our archives after our meeting for any details,\u201d the man said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last encounter was long ago, I think you called them Stih when we encountered the last Force users,\u201d Jessica said wondering how that would affect the man.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou haven\u2019t had any contact since?\u201d the man asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been cautious in dealing with outsiders,\u201d Jessica said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen its good,\u201d the man replied.\u00a0 \u201cThe Sith used the Force to advance their own power, they hurt others because they can.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI will keep that in mind,\u201d Jessica replied keeping a smile hidden with the knowledge she was a Sith Lord.\u00a0 She wondered what he might think if he actually knew who she was.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re also aware of a new Sith Lord, he appears to be very powerful.\u00a0 Not sure the universe is ready for another powerful Sith Lord taking over the universe,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI shall keep an eye out for any such attackers, but could the attacker of both our and your territories be that same Sith Lord?\u201d Jessica said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the theory,\u201d the man replied.<\/p>\n

They would have said more, but Leia finally entered the room in a bustle of energy.\u00a0 Jessica could tell the smaller woman had been busy as she sat down.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry for being last, politics, I hope you understand,\u201d Leia said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, I have had many such problems as well,\u201d Jessica replied as they sat down to being the second round of talks.\u00a0 After the meeting she would be heading back to the fleet, and from there another phase of her plan would start.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Luke looked down as Leia called, probably with another update with the meetings.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeia, how are things going?\u201d Luke asked her.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter two meetings with the chancellor of the Rizonians I can safely say they are a strange group,\u201d Leia replied back to him.\u00a0 \u201cMaster Fie-Tel agrees and that we should continue talks with them.\u00a0 I\u2019ve invited them to Coruscant to meet some others as well, but there is something I\u2019m not quite able to grasp from them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat do you mean?\u201d Luke asked wondering what she might have picked up that Fie-Tel had not.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just think they know more than they are saying about this new Sith Lord,\u201d Leia replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cInteresting, anything they\u2019ve said that makes you think that?\u201d Luke asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey have ships which go back to Darth Raven and Malak when they had turned to the Dark side during the Mandalorian Wars,\u201d Leia replied back to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Mandalorian Wars, gets more and more interesting,\u201d Luke stated.\u00a0 \u201cI know that the ship which destroyed the Republic cruiser was a ship dating back to that date.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI know, which is why I\u2019m cautious.\u00a0 I thought about that and, well, after the first meeting I felt a blast of the Force,\u201d Leia told him.<\/p>\n

Luke took a second to think about that bit of news, he had not heard that, but it also could have occurred after he spoke to Fie-Tel.\u00a0 \u201cBe careful, the Sith Lord could be near, very much like how Palpatine was when he became Emperor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve already had that talk with some of the senators, and that didn\u2019t go over well at all,\u201d Leia replied.\u00a0 \u201cThey are ready to go on a witch hunt despite the fact we have no idea who, or where, this Sith Lord is.\u00a0 He could be part of the Rizonian group for all we know, keeping the government blind to his presence.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCould be,\u201d Luke said, but he felt sure that the new Sith Lord was a woman if he considered the vision with Gaia.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019ll keep an eye out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI will,\u201d Leia said, as they ended the communications.<\/p>\n

Luke wasn\u2019t sure he liked the idea of someone in the shadows manipulating things like Palpatine had done with the Republic.\u00a0 They would have to be cautious when moving forward, the last thing they needed was another Emperor ruling the galaxy.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

\u201cIs everything ready?\u201d the voice said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, came the reply.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood, the she-demon is unaware of our plans,\u201d the first voice said.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019ll execute the plan when I return.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you sure?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we don\u2019t move, she will gain too much power, the failed rebellion has taught us that much, we must move now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThen we\u2019ll be ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Jessica woke finding herself in a strange place, and it wasn\u2019t the ship which was where she last recalled being.\u00a0 She was lying on the ground and could hear a campfire going nearby but there was something else which startled her even more.\u00a0 The feeling of someone lying on top of her.\u00a0 Taking a glance she peeled away the blanket revealing reddish-blonde hair which was the last thing she expected to see.<\/p>\n

The movement of the blanket seemed to stir the person lying on top of her, and Jessica felt surprised to see the face of the small Jedi staring back at her.\u00a0 Of course the next part surprised her even more.<\/p>\n

\u201cMorning Xena,\u201d she said giving Jessica a quick kiss.<\/p>\n

Before Jessica could even figure out what was going on she found herself replying to the woman.<\/p>\n

\u201cMorning to you too Gabrielle,\u201d she heard herself say unsure where that came from, or that name.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts too early to get up,\u201d the woman called Gabrielle said snuggling closer to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou just need to start getting up earlier, that\u2019s all,\u201d Xena laughed.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, you\u2019re going to get it for that warrior princess,\u201d Gabrielle stated as her hands began to move and tickle Xena.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think so bard,\u201d Xena replied countering the hands as a tickle fight started.<\/p>\n

Jessica finally had enough and decided to put a stop to this nonsense and figure out what was going on.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, what\u2019s going on here,\u201d she said, as the other woman stopped as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d the blonde said as she looked at Jessica strangely.\u00a0 \u201cThough you look like someone I know, well, actually I should say kidnapped me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGaia?\u201d Jessica stated a bit shocked.<\/p>\n

\u201cRizon?\u201d Gaia replied looking around.\u00a0 \u201cWhere are we?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow should I know, what magic are you using here?\u201d Jessica demanded.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe, I don\u2019t know either,\u2019 Gaia said as she was looking around.\u00a0 \u201cBut you know, its kinda nice here\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNice, you kidnapped me,\u201d Jessica said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d Gaia said looking back at Jessica.\u00a0 \u201cThis is because we\u2019re connected, don\u2019t you feel it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI doubt that,\u201d Jessica replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, then you explain it,\u201d Gaia said standing up and walking around and looking at everything and back at Jessica.\u00a0 \u201cBesides, I like how you\u2019re dressed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, you keep your hands to yourself,\u201d Jessica replied, having to grab the smaller woman\u2019s hands, but was surprised at the strength she processed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like this outfit,\u201d Gaia replied back looking very much like a predator at het moment, and Jessica was her prey.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd you should talk,\u201d Jessica said trying to turn the tables looking at the skirt and green bra type thing Gaia was wearing.\u00a0 \u201cThat outfit leaves almost nothing to the imagination.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou like,\u201d Gaia said twirling a bit to give Jessica a better view.<\/p>\n

\u201cLook, how about we think of a way to get out of here,\u201d Jessica said trying to get a handle on what was going on around them, and back to the real issues at hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy, I like what we\u2019re talking about,\u201d Gaia replied back to her.<\/p>\n

Jessica just growled at Gaia.\u00a0 She felt off balance here, as if something else was going on which she had little control of.\u00a0 All she had to do was figure out what the situation as and she could fight it.<\/p>\n

\u201cPersonally I think we should take advantage of this situation,\u201d Gaia replied back to her.\u00a0 \u201cYou know, a girl could get a complex with the way you\u2019re treating me, and here I thought you were trying to seduce me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessica eyes narrowed at the pout Gaia gave her.\u00a0 True, she had tried to seduce her but it was her who was in control, not the Jedi.\u00a0 The way the Jedi was acting was too strange.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will defiantly discuss this later,\u201d Jessica said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look forward to it, but I have one request, will you wear something like that as well when you came visit me,\u201d Gaia said letting her eyes go down to the outfit Jessica was wearing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not going to be talking about my outfit,\u201d Jessica said, trying to be stern.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy not, I like it, makes you look sexy,\u201d Gaia said once more advancing on Jessica who actually stumbled back a bit to keep the smaller woman at a distance.<\/p>\n

Things were not going as she planned here, then again she had no idea where she was or why.\u00a0 Turning once more towards Gaia she leveled her with a piercing gaze.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhere are we?\u201d Jessica asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no idea, but we should take advantage of it,\u201d Gaia stated, this time jumping up onto Jessica.<\/p>\n

The force knocked them both to the ground with Gaia on top and looking very much like the predator.<\/p>\n
