Part 21<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Luke sat meditating when he felt a sudden lose though the Force and had to try to figure out what had happened.\u00a0 The only thing he could really recall was when he was on board the Millennium Falcon so long ago and before he was trained in the Force.\u00a0 He had felt the destruction of Alderaan but was too inexperienced to understand what had happened.\u00a0 This time he felt it but wasn\u2019t sure what it was.<\/p>\n

Getting up and heading out of the room he wondered if anyone else had felt it as well.\u00a0 HE needed to know if it really was something though the Force, or had it been associated with his meditation.\u00a0 If many had felt it then whatever had happened was bigger than he thought and it also meant the problem was larger than he expected.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaster Skywalker, some students were wondering if you felt something in the Force as well,\u201d Fie-Tel said walking up to him along with Kyle.\u00a0 Both of them appeared anxious over what happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I was wondering how many others also felt it,\u201d Luke replied back to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt interrupted some of the training, especially those who are better in tune with the Force,\u201d Kyle said.\u00a0 \u201cYou know, it felt like,\u201d he paused looking at them both, \u201clike a lot of people were killed suddenly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luke only nodded knowing that\u2019s probably what it was, but had no idea exactly what had happened.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need to speak with my sister,\u201d Luke said, making his way to the communications room.\u00a0 A bit later he sighed learning she was in a meeting with the senate.\u00a0 He could only hope she was aware of what was going on, and that it appeared something had happened.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Leia listened in as it seemed everyone walked to talk and no one wanted to listen.\u00a0 Since she started the meeting it had devolved into a shouting match between different groups.\u00a0 People were complaining why they should have to defend others and some were saying Leia was trying to take after Senator Palpatine who turned into the Emperor.\u00a0 One Senator was still trying to rally support to his cause and meeting this group called Rizonians.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was about to intervene when she felt a powerful presence from the Force.\u00a0 She knew something had gone wrong and wondered what it might have been to cause such a disturbance.\u00a0 She needed to speak with her brother about this and find out what happened seeing a brief pause in all groups.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suggest a brief recess so tempers may cool down and we can look at the objective with a clearer head,\u201d Leia said to the group watching as several others agreed with her.\u00a0 The council was paused as people started to leave.<\/p>\n

Leia quickly went to her office and was informed by her secretary that Luke had tried to call her not that long ago.\u00a0 The news didn\u2019t calm Leia one bit considering he called her and had a feeling something had happened.\u00a0 She thanked her secretary and asked if she would call him back.<\/p>\n

Getting thought to the Jedi Academy didn\u2019t take long and Luke\u2019s face appeared on the screen.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeia,\u201d he said.\u00a0 \u201cGlad you called me back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes this have anything to do with what I felt in the Force not long ago?\u201d Leia asked him.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I figured you would feel it.\u00a0 I was wondering if Republic Intelligence had discovered anything out of the ordinary which might account for what we felt.\u00a0 Some sort of attack?\u201d Luke asked her.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot that I\u2019m aware of, only that Frasis was attacked, but it\u2019s out on the rim,\u201d Leia replied back to him.\u00a0 \u201cWe were actually arguing about it in the council before you called and when this happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no idea if its connected to that or something else,\u201d Luke replied to her.\u00a0 \u201cOnly that there is a growing presence within the Force.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should be careful then,\u201d Leia said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll have intelligence keep an eye out for anything else,\u201d Leia said as she ended the conversation with Luke\u2019s thanks.<\/p>\n

She gathered what she knew and sent off a report to intelligence while looking at her own reports hoping something in them would tell her what might have happened.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Jessica stood in full Darth Rizon mode waiting for the government of Frasis to respond to her demands.\u00a0 So far she had leveled one city with no remorse of ordering a second city destroyed if her demands were not met.\u00a0 Growing impatient she looked over at Tyi.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnything yet?\u201d she asked him as he looked on.<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing yet my lord,\u201d he replied back to her.\u00a0 \u201cPerhaps they are still stunned and trying to figure out what is going on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOr perhaps they are too stupid to know to surrender,\u201d Jessica replied back taking another look at the planet in question.\u00a0 \u201cTell them they have ten minutes to meet my demands or another city will be destroyed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes my lord,\u201d Tyi replied heading off to carry out the order leaving Jessica standing next to Gaia.\u00a0 He then left the room to see some others to make sure her orders were carried out.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou do no approve,\u201d Jessica whispered to the small Jedi.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d the honest reply came back.\u00a0 \u201cI don\u2019t like seeing anyone hurt.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIs that so?\u201d Jessica replied as another idea came to her.\u00a0 \u201cWe shall see then.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was like she had been given a new weapon to use against the Jedi.\u00a0 She would explore this side as well in her attempt to bring the Jedi over to the Dark Side.\u00a0 The game was becoming interesting, yet there was a smaller part other still warring for something else, something more that it craved from the blonde-haired Jedi.\u00a0 For now she was able to ignore it, but it appeared to gaining strength.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe she has that tiny, weak Jedi standing beside her, but it\u2019s true, some on the bridge said its true,\u201d one of the trainees in the hangar said speaking up to the others.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe quiet you fool, or you\u2019ll get us all killed,\u201d another one said eyeing a tall blonde who walked into the room.\u00a0 She was Katie, Darth Rizon\u2019s right hand when it came to training her Sith warriors and she was deadly efficient at it as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cEh, I don\u2019t care.\u00a0 It\u2019s a sign of weakness to be for her to have that Jedi with her.\u201d The man said spitting out Jedi as if it might contaminate him by saying it.\u00a0 He was suddenly very still as the hum of a lightsaber sliced through the air and pointed right at his throat.\u00a0 He had to fight the urge to counter it knowing he wasn\u2019t powerful enough yet to challenge her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suggest you be careful what you say, Darth Rizon has ears everywhere,\u201d the tall blonde aid to him.\u00a0 No one had seen her move and she looked as if she was ready to kill any of them.<\/p>\n

The entire room stopped and watched to see what was going to happened.\u00a0 They all appeared waiting if she would kill him or not.\u00a0 The lightsaber clicked off and she lowered her arm as people knew there would be no bloodshed yet, but knew to remain quiet and focused on their training.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone get back to your practice,\u201d Katie said in a growl before looking at the trainee in question.\u00a0 \u201cYou come with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes ma\u2019am,\u201d the man said.<\/p>\n

He walked out of the hangar with her and into a more secluded spot away from the others making him wonder what might be going on and if she was going to kill him, or some sort of other torture and prepared himself.\u00a0 She turned to him looking him over for a few seconds.<\/p>\n

\u201cTell me what you know of the Sith doctrine?\u201d she asked him shocking him a bit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe strong survive,\u201d he answered.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight, and part of the Sith way is to overthrow their masters,\u201d she said to him watching as realization sunk in with him.\u00a0 \u201cI think together we can overthrow Darth Rizon and become Sith lords ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIs that possible,\u201d the man asked.\u00a0 Despite what he said he had seen how powerful Darth Rizon was and what she was capable of.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts always possible, and that puny Jedi is the key,\u201d she said back to him.\u00a0 \u201cWhat do you say?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think you can count on me my lord,\u201d he said with a slight smile.<\/p>\n

\u201cExcellent,\u201d she replied.\u00a0 \u201cFor now, continue to train and get stronger, and keep your mouth shut.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course,\u201d he said, walking out of the room and back to the hangar leaving her alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fool doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s in for,\u201d another figure said emerging from the shadows.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo he doesn\u2019t my master,\u201d she replied back to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cSoon they will all know,\u201d he said, then left her.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Jessica continued to watch the planet, but also watching the small Jedi as well.\u00a0 Tyi came back on the bridge and went back over the communications officer before making his way over to her with a grim look on his face.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy lord, there is still no word from the surface,\u201d he told her.\u00a0 Her anger flared at this, she would not be ignored.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo they take me for a fool,\u201d she finally said.\u00a0 \u201cThey will feel the full power of the Sith.\u201d<\/p>\n

She turned to her captain and paused thinking about the idea she had earlier.\u00a0 Now would be the perfect opportunity to implement her plan and turned to where Gaia was standing.\u00a0 She could see the questioning look returned to her as Jessica looked down at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a proposition for you,\u201d Jessica said to her.\u00a0 \u201cI\u2019ll space the planet if you order the destruction of one of the cities.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessica saw the conflict in the Jedi\u2019s eyes right away as she warred with herself.\u00a0 It was exactly what she wanted a way to push the Jedi into something she didn\u2019t want to do.\u00a0 She would either order a large group to die, or be responsible for even more to die.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd how do I know that you won\u2019t go ahead and order the entire surface destroyed anyways?\u201d Gaia countered back to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t,\u201d Jessica replied honestly.\u00a0 \u201cIt all depends on them and their answer.\u00a0 Pick a good target and they might come around, if not, then they\u2019ll need more persuasion.\u201d<\/p>\n

She watched the Jedi look at her, then back at the planet before back at her.\u00a0 There was something else in her eyes as she looked on and for a brief second she reconsidered but stopped herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy don\u2019t you just threaten them again,\u201d Gaia replied back making Jessica mentally roll her eyes at the naive attempt to deflect the decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeen there, tried that, didn\u2019t work,\u201d Jessica said with a smile thinking this game was fun.\u00a0 \u201cPick a target, I don\u2019t have a lot of patience.\u201d<\/p>\n

She watched as the small Jedi continued to think of perhaps a way out of the situation.\u00a0 For Jessica there were only two ways, unless somehow the planet regained their senses and surrendered to her which she didn\u2019t see happening anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cHurry up,\u201d Jessica said pushing the smaller woman to make a decision, giving her less time to come up with some other plan.<\/p>\n

She watched as finally the small Jedi after several more seconds of inner turmoil finally pointed at a spot on the planet\u2019s surface with shaky finger.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, you heard the lady, open fire there,\u201d Jessica said pulling Gaia with her.\u00a0 The Jedi offered no resistance as they turned to look out the window.<\/p>\n

They could make out the turbolaser turrets on the Sith battleship next to them as they swiveled down planetside.\u00a0 In seconds the ships opened fire releasing a rain of turbo lasers down onto the planet\u2019s surface.\u00a0 They would lay death and destruction to the spot on the planet.\u00a0 It would be in ruins for years to come and a reminder to the people on the planet not to test her or they would feel her wrath.<\/p>\n

Things were coming together as she had foreseen.\u00a0 It wouldn\u2019t be long before the people bowed to her as Empress.<\/p>\n
