Part 5<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lexxa turned to see Kira, Doc, Scourge and HK heading towards her but no Flesh Raiders around.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou didn\u2019t eliminate them all?\u201d Lexxa asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cExplanation: No master, the meatbags ran away,\u201d HK replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cClarification: Shouldn\u2019t we go after them master?\u201d HK asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t think that will be necessary HK,\u201d Lexxa said knowing the droid would be disappointed at that.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, its over?\u201d Kira asked, looking at the body of the Sith.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, his job was to destroy the village,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFailure,\u201d Scourge said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah,\u201d Lexxa replied, heading inside the building Halathar had been using and looking for anything which might be dangerous to leave behind in Flesh Raider hands.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot well organized,\u201d Scourge said looking around as they found the communicator.<\/p>\n

Lexxa was about to reply when the communicator activated and the mysterious master of Halathar appeared. He seemed to look on at the group.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh, the mysterious Sth Lord,\u201d Lexxa said. \u201cIf you\u2019re looking for Halathar, I\u2019m afraid he won\u2019t be calling you anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sith seemed to consider that for a few seconds before making any reply.<\/p>\n

\u201cExpected,\u201d he finally said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd who are you, oh mysterious master of Halathar,\u201d Lexxa asked wondering if he would even answer.<\/p>\n

\u201cSith Lord Ukiel,\u201d he finally replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cServed under Baras,\u201d Scourge said. \u201cOr did.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBaras is dead,\u201d Ukiel replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, working for a new power base,\u201d Lexxa replied. \u201cYour part in this invasion was Halathar, but he failed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDisgraced me, if you killed him you saved the trouble of doing it myself,\u201d Ukiel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe didn\u2019t give me much choice,\u201d Lexxa replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cI sent too weak a servant for that invasion, but I had my doubts,\u201d Ukiel said. \u201cI heard about Revan, we owe you a bit of gratitude Lexxa.\u201d<\/p>\n

She wasn\u2019t surprised that Ukiel knew her name. She had been a thorn in the Empire\u2019s side for a while now.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t worry, I won\u2019t be after vengeance like Angle, he was a fool who let his emotions blind him to everything else. It really was too bad, he had the ability and talent as well,\u201d Ukiel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe would have never redeemed himself,\u201d Lexxa said understanding where this Sith was coming from.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d Ukiel said. \u201cAs I said, you have spared me the embarrassment of him coming back.\u00a0 For that, I find I\u2019m grateful to a Jedi.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I\u2019ve been grateful to a Sith,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, Lana, oh, don\u2019t worry, she might be officially disgraced, but unofficially she is a hero as well,\u201d Ukiel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSure she\u2019s grateful,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe should be, it means no one will kill her,\u201d Ukiel said. \u201cThough it does pose a problem on what to do with her, but that is a Sith problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lexxa felt like arguing but realized anything she said probably wouldn\u2019t matter much to anyone. She instead decided to return the conversation back to the current problem.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo this matter is now closed?\u201d Lexxa asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I will not pursue it,\u201d Ukiel replied, before ending the communications.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, he\u2019s a real charmer,\u201d Kira said.<\/p>\n

You think we can trust him?\u201d Lexxa asked, looking at Scourge.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t know him much,\u201d Scourge replied. \u201cWith the fall of Baras anything could have happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cProbably posturing for a position in the restructured Empire,\u201d Doc said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, last I saw it was in chaos,\u201d Lexxa replied knowing they had done much to place in such a position. \u201cLet\u2019s get back.\u201d<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Lexxa and her group walked back into the Twi\u2019lek village seeing everyone stop and look at them, wondering what the success of the mission had been. Rusk came over along with Ranna and Jale.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened?\u201d Ranna asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe managed to defeat the Flesh Raiders,\u201d Lexxa replied seeing Ranna give a sigh of relief.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo its over,\u201d Ranna said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt appears so,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll have to stay for a celebration,\u201d Ranna said, even as a few other Twi\u2019leks went off to prepare a celebration.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, we can\u2019t refuse,\u201d Doc said before anyone else could say anything.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is getting late,\u201d Lexxa said looking up at the sky and over at the rest of her group. \u201cWe\u2019ll head back in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAs you say Jedi Master,\u201d Rusk said.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat, it\u2019s settled,\u201d Ranna said, turning to another person and giving some instructions.<\/p>\n

\u201cNever been a part of a Tei\u2019lek celebration,\u201d Kira said wrapping an arm around Lexxa. \u201cBesides, it\u2019ll be nice to relax.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, not often we get to celebrate with the people we help,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, why not? Are the Jedi against it?\u201d Ranna asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, usually we\u2019re off to the next trouble spot,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cA never ending series of putting out fires across the Republic,\u201d Doc said. \u201cIt makes us weary.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s exaggerating,\u201d Kira said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, not by much, normally we\u2019re headed back to the ship, get a short rest, and then off to the next problem,\u201d Lexxa replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I thought looking after a village was exhausting,\u201d Ranna said. \u201cI can\u2019t imagine what I\u2019d be like after going place after place to help out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s what I do,\u201d Lexxa replied.<\/p>\n

They went inside and freshened up.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s nice,\u201d Kira said. \u201cA bit young.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHer mother died last time I was here,\u201d Lexxa replied. \u201cShe had to deal with her mother, and the Flesh Raiders, and other things.\u00a0 It was a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s learned quick,\u201d Kira said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd she\u2019s probably about your age,\u201d Lexxa said, pausing to look at Kira. \u201cCome on, let\u2019s go mingle with the locals, didn\u2019t get a chance last time.\u00a0 Went on to defeat Bengel Morr and was swiftly needed on Coruscant.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd been busy ever since,\u201d Kira said. \u201cI should know, been with you almost all of that time.\u201d<\/p>\n

They made their way back outside and over to where a group was gathered.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Lexxa made her way into the Jedi Council the next morning along with Kira, the rest of her group had gone back to the ship for which Scourge seemed thankful for. She noticed a few Jedi Masters and recognized almost all of them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcome back Master Lexxa, and your padawan Kira,\u201d Satele said to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaster Satele,\u201d Lexxa replied giving a slight bow to everyone and waiting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve gone over your reports of what happened, do you think the Flesh Raiders are still a problem with this Sith gone?\u201d Satele asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think so,\u201d Lexxa replied. \u201cWithout Halathar to lead them against the Twi\u2019leks I don\u2019t think they\u2019ll try any attacks in the near future.\u00a0 Long term, there is no telling what the Flesh Raiders will do, we can only hope to observe them to make sure we know of any changes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a wise precaution,\u201d Satele replied. \u201cI\u2019ll have to see about setting something up and working with the Twi\u2019lek village over this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure the Matriarch would welcome any help,\u201d Lexxa said knowing how Ranna would react to such a plan. She had been grateful to see them return and the celebration had been nice.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou believe this will be the end of it?\u201d Satele asked. \u201cWe won\u2019t have another Darth Angral problem?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe seemed pleased I took care of a problem for him,\u201d Lexxa replied. \u201cHe thought of Halathar as an embarrassment to him.\u00a0 If he ever returned I doubt Ukiel would have welcomed him back with open arms.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cStill, it\u2019s a waste of life,\u201d Satele replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was, but I don\u2019t think we could have done anything to solve the situation any better,\u201d Lexxa replied back to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll right, you and your padawan, and rest of your group and on rest for a while,\u201d Satele said.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnless something big comes up again,\u201d Lexxa said, knowing how the universe operated. \u201cI\u2019m glad this one was a bit easy this time.\u00a0 Halathar really wasn\u2019t a match for a Jedi Master.\u00a0 His thirst for vengeance was what made him dangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTake some time off,\u201d Satele said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you,\u201d Lexxa said, and with a bow she and Kira headed out of the council room.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, where do we go?\u201d Kira asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure we can think of something,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst, I\u2019d like to visit Master Kiwiiks,\u201d Kira said as they moved forwards to find the Jedi Master.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Lexxa followed Kira into the meditation room seeing Master Kiwiiks in there.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaster,\u201d Kira said, surprising Kiwiiks who looked a bit startled.<\/p>\n

\u201cKira, Lexxa,\u201d Kiwiiks said, standing up and moving over to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look good,\u201d Kira said giving her a hug.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m still recovering, but I\u2019m feeling better each day,\u201d Kiwiiks replied, and Lexxa had to agree, the Jedi Master did look much better considering how they found her last time on Tatooine. \u201cI\u2019ve been hearing a lot of things about you two.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAll good things I hope,\u201d Lexxa said with a smile.<\/p>\n

\u201cRaven, Hutta, among other places. You\u2019ve been busy,\u201d Kiwiiks said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were a few spots I wasn\u2019t sure we\u2019d survive,\u201d Kira said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, the way you go charging in I\u2019m not surprised,\u201d Kiwiiks replied back to Kira who pouted a bit at that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s part of who she is,\u201d Lexxa stated seeing Kiwiiks look a bit more intently at them both.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve been good for each other I see,\u201d Kiwiiks said to them causing Kira to look at Lexxa with some concern. \u201cI\u2019m no longer on the council, so what Jedi do is not my concern.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh,\u201d Kira replied, wondering if there was something else.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, its not surprising at all. Jedi are living people as well, we have feelings and to ignore them is to lose part of who we are.\u00a0 We push for balance, do not let it overwhelm you and become everything you focus on,\u201d Kiwiiks said.\u00a0 \u201cWe all have our romances, only be discreet\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will master,\u201d Lexxa said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to come by while we were here and see how you were doing,\u201d Kira said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m glad you did, the change in you is something I can feel as well. Neither of you are really pawadans anymore,\u201d Kiwiiks said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe a Jedi Knight, I can\u2019t imagine that, not like Lexxa,\u201d Kira said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t sell yourself short, you\u2019d do well,\u201d Lexxa said. \u201cWe better get back up to the ship.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, before HK starts shooting something,\u201d Kira said, with a slight laugh.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou made some wonderful friends, I am proud of you Kira,\u201d Kiwiiks said and Lexxa noticed a slight blush on Kira\u2019s cheeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll try and call master,\u201d Kira said, as they bowed and left the room heading to the shuttle to head to the station and the ship.<\/p>\n

*****<\/p>\n

Lexxa arrived on the ship and looked around at everyone.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood work everyone, we\u2019re now on a break,\u201d Lexxa told them.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen I have time to look into something else,\u201d Scourge said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah,\u201d Lexxa said, wondering if she would be told what this was at some point in the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts not dangerous?\u201d Rusk said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany things that I know are dangerous,\u201d Scourge said. \u201cBut it will not interfere with anyone here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lexxa had no worries about that. \u201cWell, if you need help, you know where we all are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, where do we go?\u201d Doc asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got some credts saved up,\u201d Lexxa said knowing their bank account wasn\u2019t in danger anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow about a beach, get some sun?\u201d Kira said.<\/p>\n

Lexxa gave that some thought, seeing Kira in a bikini would be a nice change. She looked at the others.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, I could always go for that,\u201d doc replied.<\/p>\n

Lexxa had the feeling Scourge and Rusk wouldn\u2019t be as comfortable but neither disagreed with it. She had a feeling both of them would probably end up close to the ship.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, let\u2019s go and relax,\u201d Lexxa finally said.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat, I know a place we can go,\u201d Doc said, moving towards the cockpit along with Kira.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re sure you\u2019re all right with this?\u201d Lexxa asked the other two.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will allow me to work in peace,\u201d Scourge said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can relax like anyone else,\u201d Rusk said, leaving Lexxa looking forward to this.<\/p>\n

Of course the best part would be seeing Kira in a bikini.<\/p>\n
